I have been blessed to attend Future 4 out of the 9 years it has been around. Each of those years I have had a crazy fun time, filled with memories, laughs and amazing live music experiences. For me being poor Future was economically the best. For $150 I was seeing minimum 6 solid acts that I love all in one day vs. total price to attend 6 individual side shows. Future = Music. I have seen alot of my favorite acts at Future including Mark Ronson, MGMT, Dizzee Rascal, Drake, Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia (Fwuar memories), Rudimental, TChami, The Chemical Brothers, Rustie + too many more to mention. Future was always my last farewell to Summer as Autumn was usually the beginning of my hibernation after a crazy jam packed Summer Season. So you know we always went hard, squeezing maximum live music time - running between stages because there was always clashes for the acts I wanted to see - as well as trying to make time to take advantage of the other free things set up throughout the festival including (varying different years): Roller disco, Foam Stage, Silent Disco, Rides and time to try the different foods. It is a shame that the discontinuing of festivals trend has hit Future and I do think it is a serious market issue which needs a massive re-evaluation. I am not too sure what the future of festivals in Australia will be but I do hope that promoters and organizers will be able to come up with something that still keeps the festival concept alive. Farewell Future Music Festival, you were great while you lasted. I will forever cherish the memories!

Ever since the LA producer Falcons dropped his rework of Tory Lanez "R.I.D.E", I have been on the Tory Lanez grind. I don't know what it is about Canada but everyone coming out from there lately just sounds like butter. This track sees T-Lanez team up with UK lads Snakehips for the latest edition of #songsfromscratch by Yours Truly x adidas originals which as per hits hard and takes you to bed.

Sidenote: If you're not in the know with Snakehips, get the fuck 'mungst' it. Saw them live at Listen Out 2014. They dropped Raury's 'Cigarette Song' and all shit was lost. #Laaaaters

Babe of the Week: Marc Blucas
