Tonight’s auction wins - new vase, a couple of glass horse head book ends, a couple of brass candlesticks to add to my collection, as well as a couple of wall sconces. I did not get the teak mid-century modern coffee table that I posted about a few days ago, nor did I get the antique side table that I had my eye on for the mother. These are the photos from the auction site. I’ll post some more when they are in my place.

Hillside Inside celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Last night was my first time seeing anything Hillside, as my friend scored a pair of free tickets to DJ Shub with special guests Lido Pimienta and HEAT at St. George’s Church. Lido was the opening act (!!!!). That second band never had a chance. I can’t think of many acts that could equal or surpass her energy and stage presence. Anyways, the night came to life again with DJ Shub at the end. He had a couple wicked sexy back-up dancers too - a grass dancer and a men’s fancy dancer. Photo credit: Alejandro Santiago
