In comes day two!

Another busy day in life but I got drawings done in between and after! I also figured out a lot of fun geography stuff and did several doodles for it but make no sense right now (you'll see what I mean) and too tired to make any sense of it........so have some more silhouettes I did on the train and a sketch I did while waiting after a lecture.

I'll probably go into detail and have legible notes in my geography drawings tomorrow. (They honestly look like gibberish without already knowing what it is).

With the start of June comes the start of World Building June and the summer long Artslam! However, my summer long fun of creativity and world building starts off with a slow and confusing start as I've had very little time today to sit and craft. Thankfully I had just enough seconds to stop and quickly draw up some strange little silhouettes of possibly building or city structures for my fun little monster world.

The world itself is of a strange realm where its natives are monsters of various shapes and sizes. It houses an ancient society that builds on itself as time passes with newer structures and districts stacked over their predecessors. This structure, however, is more like a reverse pyramid by being more top heavy in both culture and population while those in the older levels live luxuriously in their solitude.

The realm itself can be seen as a world in between others. Its skies are dark but shimmering with cosmic dust, galaxies, and stars in a bright and constant state of birth and death. The soil is dark and gray, nurturing no nutrients causing any vegetation to grow as severely slow rates. There are no animals with the exception of a few brought in from outside the realm, yet filled with a great variety of sentient monsters.

This is about all I have set for now, but I hope to flesh out more of the world's geography tomorrow.

World Building June 2017! Hello friends, its that time! What time? World building time! World Building June is right around the corner and its time to prepare your mind, body, and building supplies for 30 days of building worlds with some of the coolest cats this side of the internet!

What’s World Building June exactly?

WBJ is like other casual creative challenges where you create something every day! But how you approach WBJ is up to you! Are you mainly a writer? Write up articles and exploratory stories about your world to help flesh it out. Are you more of an artist? Make illustrations and concept art which helps visually flesh out your world. Are you more comfortable combining both art and literature? Do just that and create an illustrated guide!

How much or how little you build is up to you, as long as you build! The main purpose of WBJ is to get that world you’ve had on the back burner and finally making progress on it! Just get it on paper and you’ll be one step closer to putting that world into action!

Comic artists, Novelists, Roleplayers, dice rollers, game designers, this is for anyone who has a world that needs building! Even if you don’t have a world that you’ve had locked away you can take this as a creative challenge to make one from scratch!
