How Does a Doll Girl Stay Cool During The Summer?

Humans can sweat to cool us down.

Robot girls have coolant and  built-in fans.

But what do dolls have?

And then it hit me! Dolls use ghosts!

Dolls are often associated with spirits haunting them!

Ghosts are known for turning the air around them cold!

It’s a symbiotic relationship, a ghost gets to chill in a body again and a doll gets to cool off in the summer heat!

sorry for sharing her nudes but I need to impress upon all of you just how INSANELY PERFECT she is

besides the missing fingers and floppy worn-out elastic, I could not do better if I went back in time and bought her new from the store, and that's only BARELY an exaggeration

see how shiny she is? that's varnish on her composition body

that varnish has remained 99.9% intact. for approx. 120 years. no scuffs. no cracks. no gesso loss. nothing

she's marked too:

that extremely legible and crisp mark on her perfectly varnished lower back? yeah. also 120 years old

I was totally prepared to do a Before And After but honestly the After will just be "she's been restrung and her wig no longer looks ike a mohair UFO [deflated Gibson Girl pompadour probably; I can Reinflate it["

oh and did I mention the last owner. sent a neatly handwritten description of her provenance in a little labeled plastic sleeve, along with a bunch of other family ephemera and artifacts? including a ring that belonged to her first owner and fits me perfectly?

like who are these people and what did I do to deserve them finding me??
