It took me a month to get around to posting this, but here’s my fourth year film! Eight months of my life gone on this thing but I’m still pretty happy with it.

Really well done! Out of interest, did you base the character designs on the Small Gods comic, or am I just really bad at remembering what should be clear descriptions from the book?
I didn’t realize there was a Small Gods comic! Brutha is pretty much just the picture I had of him when I first read the books (plus generic monk bowl cut), and I pulled Vorbis’s description off the Discworld wiki, and Om is just the quickest tortoise I can draw.
Redid my Small Gods boards from last year. Maybe one day I’ll move on from this scene, but it’s not today. Audio from the 2006 BBC4 radio play.
Quick concept art. These kids are great at stealing spaceships but bad at landing them.
I haven’t been able to post in ages since I’ve been working in the ol’ thesis mines, but now that the semester’s almost over it’s time to start sharing! Starting with a couple of screencaps of the last year of my life.
Taking a break from film prep to revisit some old characters and not have to worry about colour.
it’s a brand new semester with a brand new selfie theme but you still gotta catch ‘em all and be the best that you can be
Colour Correction by Kaleidoscope Studios
Here it is our group film! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it!
Our third year film is finally online! It was very stressful but so much fun trying to pull it off and I’m still so proud of the work we did!
Print I finished earlier this summer and totally forgot about it. Shout out to Degas for the hard work.
Quick tablet doodle to celebrate our group film’s premiere tomorrow! It was a lot of work but my group mates were all talented and hardworking and I’m so proud of the end result. Be sure to check out the film blog at @kaleidoscopestudios
We don’t get a lot of practice boarding to dialog at school, so I took on a scene from one of my fave books as practice.
The cast of an old webcomic idea a friend and I were working on.
(This would be the lighter and softer animated spin off where no one dies)
This semester’s banner theme was Star Wars! I thought about doing something clever but I can’t pass up the chance to be a jedi.
Props work for our third year film.
Casually draws art for my favourite series as character design practice.
(I totally did not know Serafina was supposed to be blonde)

Our group film blog is finally live! Check it out if you like cool art by cool people or just wanna see what we’ll be working on for the next four months.
Final multiplane layout for school. I don’t know if I’ll ever totally be a layout person but this was oddly relaxing to work on. See it in motion here.
