I will die on the 'Han Seo' isn't stupid hill istg. You're telling me he's just dumb and the fact he receives head injuries constantly doesn't mean anything??? Plus realistically if someone is constantly in extreme distress for YEARS isn't that going to play a role in it at all? I feel like it's hard for him to snap out of the 'the only thing I need to think about rn is how to avoid being beaten' mindset so ofc being smart is going to be pushed away. He's constantly in panic mode knowing one small misstep and he's going to suffer for it.

Hi Everyone. Important Announcement!

So in recent months my posts on Ao3 and Tumblr have dramatically decreased and this is because of a recent passing away of an infant in my family. As you can imagine, this makes my deaged Han Seo fic incredibly hard to write. Whilst I will not be abandoning the Vincenzo fanbase forever, I will be taking a break to write about other things for some time so I can heal properly. I still have many WIPs I have yet to publish, and many completed chapters I'll be randomly uploading but they won't be as quick as they used to be.

I routinely think about Han Seo doing dumb stuff to test Vincenzo's limit because a part of him doubts that someone could love him unconditionally and whilst it does make me very sad, I like to occasionally picture Han Seo going 'wee woo wee woo' like an ambulance when he sees one to see if Vincenzo will get annoyed but all Vincenzo is thinking is about how this is just another fun, silly quirk.

I LOVE coming up with angst fics for Han Seo but making them deceivingly wholesome. Like yes, Han Seo and some of the geumza plaza tenants might try out those giant hamster balls purely for fun but will I attempt to make the reader cry by detailing how Han Seo could have had a better life and should have been protected from anything that could harm him? Absolutely!

I had fun with this, I had finished it in April of 2023 but editing it was even more fun! Lmk if you like the whole POV thing I'm doing to showcase Han Seo's thoughts!

Ok but picture the geumza plaza residents and Vincenzo slowly realising just how much Han Seo is affected still by the abuse and how much is ingrained in him. Like the little things such as being asked to choose what food he wants, so he chooses bland food because he's used to what he 'wants' being something completely different to his actual likes because he doesn't think his opinions matter/are better or valid and because his mind is still in 'please everyone around you by answering how you think they want you to' mode. So then slowly they realise whats going on and let him know he CAN choose for himself and his choices aren't 'wrong' so he gets happy as if he's just won the lottery (not as if he needs the money anyway lol). They all would just be baffled at the idea of someone not being used to affection at all, and it'd be a horrible wakeup call to treat Han Seo nicer

I'm just imagining them realising how much they take for granted when they present Han Seo with the smallest of kindness and he's like 'WHOA this is so cool!'
