@donnaadi
Iām sooo happy with how they came out!
Weāre almost done with a tabletop. We just have a few more details to go. What do you think so far?! Also, do you like seeing every little detail or do you prefer just to see the biggest parts of the painting? Iām still figuring out how to post my fine art creations and would love some feedback!
Every week Iām going to be sharing a new Art deco study that Iām doing. Iāve been obsessed with competitions from our deco, and I feel like itās no surprise as this was the birth of advertising Art and as someone whoās been composing advertisements for the last 10 years, what better way than to start from where it all began. Iām working on my mental library and building my pallet so that I can be a better painter. For the next few months youāre going to see me doing different kind of studies and right now weāre starting with art deco. Here is day 1 out of 10 I plan on doing and I hope that you love it!
Iām so proud that Iām finally getting to the end of my first piece! I canāt wait to show you more about this! Sometimes we really do need to just trust the process!
Join my collector list if you want to be the first to get notice when this Collection drops. Type Sophia and Iāll add you to the list.
Watch a plain glove slowly transform through a smooth, satisfying painting process šØ
The crazy things that I used to do to get āthe shot!!ā back in my beginning days, I was the definition of cringe (and might still be)! If only I have more footage from those days to show you all of the desperate and intense things I would do to bring my vision to life. But you have to start somewhere and I wouldnāt have it any other way!!
I canāt wait to see you guys more of the painting that Iāve been finishing. Shout out to my husbandās familyās favorite restaurant in Marbella. Iāve been spending every summer in Marbella since I met my Spanish/french hubs, which is why this one is so heavily inspired by my experience there. What do you think of it so far? I canāt wait to show you more soon!!
Iāve been getting a lot of questions on my color mixing so I thought it would be a fun idea to share a little behind the scenes of how Iām getting my colors for this painting. For my first video, I want to show how Iām blocking in the shadows on the table that Iām painting. Iām using my yellow ochre with cadmium red, ultramarine, blue, and my gel medium. What do you think?
Glaze my favorite Hermes with me for Part 10 of my painting š is this how manifestation works?! Stay tuned for the rest of this painting. We are almost done!
We are getting so close to finishing this painting! Itās crazy how long this has taken, but Iām so excited to show you how itās coming out altogether! Today we finished the wine glass, tomorrow, the hand and glove, and after that all we have left is the background and we are done! I canāt wait for this. Let me know what you think so far!
I finally finished the ruffles and Iām sooo happy with how they came out!! Itās my first time painting ruffles so it took a bit of back and forth until I finally got it. Iād love to know what you think of the outcome! Which part of the painting should we paint next?
Iāve put a lot of things out there in the past that ended up manifesting themselves. āØAlso, one of the things I used to get contacted for the most in the beginning of my career was to create album covers. Even for some of my favorite musicians. So this is the next one Iām manifesting
Day two out of 30 recreating my favorite art deco illustrations from the 1920s. Join me for the rest! Let me know what you think of this one.
Part 2 from last weekās wine glass process video! This painting has so many different details, I hope youāre enjoying watching every part of it unravel together. Are you on the waitlist for the Print drop of Sophia? If not, send me a message and Iāll add you to the private list!
Day 3/30 of my series painting my favorite Art Deco illustrations! This is part of my personal studies for my work and what better way than to focus on my favorite period in history! What do you think?!
Chronicles of a girl in transition! Part of this era is getting this butt back to class so I can really grasp every aspect of this! Studying fine art feels like drowning and flying at the same time. Pursuing this dream gives me every dopamine hit, but also humbles me in ways I never expected.
