i got a bad feeling about the itgirl halloween update

they announced a call for halloween requests at the start of october and are announcing thei update to be on october 19th and. i do not belive that's enoguh time, that plus all their sneak peaks have not involved a single thing halloween themed. only a skirt and new hair dye options. my cases:

A: they go along with the october 19th update.

once again , used to them updating after dress to impress updates but this is super close and even with their usual late delays, there are several bugs that need to be patched in real time, the update being this closeby can mean riding the dti hype train for halloween but ALSO not enough time to implementmuch or any of the communtiy;s ideas, if they are at all bc.

case 1.2L the request for community halloween ideas was just another attempt to pad up their server traffic. Disappointing but not surprising, i feel deja vu, especially with them ignoring alternate gem earning methods for months after requesting them multiple times, just more stuff to pad up server traffic. boring lame gross. expected

they will/may ignore most if not all the suggestions in the new tab and slap in what the fuck ever or call for ANOTHER delay to add one or 2 more things later. then their servers will be blocked once criticism starts pouring in while their strongest simps supporters will defend their poor decisions tooth and nail and they wait for it all to blow over. and we may be left with another mid update, cool new items but maps and old systems being unchanged. new items but still, more of the same. boring . ugh.

same old i know you can do it but you just. refuse to. broken record shtcik atp. ugh. bleh.

case vL they will delay it

as mentioned above, as of writing there have been ZERO halloween specific sneak peaks, hints, items or anything and there are 5 more days till the update. unlikely anything major will be done unless, as thought. the suggestion bit was just padding and they had their own ideas already, their own same old same old ideas theyll implement with little regard to the suggestions. then again there were so many suggestions they may claim they did. plus, asking for halloween suggestions IN october, was there proper planning for this? what tf is going on? its evil but i HOPE they were just looking to pad their server trafic bc if theyre just thinking of it NOW? just say u dont care much abt halloween events bc kinda embarrasing for a FAHION game to not have anything halloweeny locked and loaded.

love itgirl so much but i feel like the devs are actively running away from user feedback to disappear for months on end and only return after dress to impress has announced their update date to conveniently announce their own update that'll be happening a week or so after [which is likely also going to be delayed] bruh. with little or, most likely, no user feedback implemented. random rant but no wonder they rely so much on people thinking they deserve their robux and money bc they've gone through so much guyssss . itgirl's ingame prices for the fictional currency the devs made up is pure bullshit, and they rely on players getting frustrated and paying insanely high prices of REAL money for one or 2 shop items. bruh.

so much to say about itgirl but they keep chasing some form of 'maturity' or modernity while ignoring most of their userbase then seem to be relying on pity , or regular collectionists like me, to have their items bought recently its sooooo tiring. i shld leave the discord to not give myself a migraine but there are good and cunty people on there. i wish feedback and genuine constructive criticism didnt feel like just blowing hot air to pad up discord traffic, and the one or 2 times people are mean are whats hyperfocused on to give them an excuse to fuck of to days know where for weeks and months ikesjn. its jsut tiring man, itgirl is the new potential man of fashion games to me bc they have the talent! they have the team they have the lore they have the fans but they just! dont!!! and give a mid/semi decent update after MONTHS OF SILENCE to distract from them rushing to shoot themselves in the foot in the pricing category, lack of actually asked for items, and a CHANGED MAP, and wonder why few people are buying their items or playing the game. bruh, its not bc ur small the fans you have have stayed but u keep! disappointing! where's the genuine passion?? where's the fun, where's the normal pricing and ingame currency earning.

also, i love itgirl etc etc . i am just. bored. and tired. they ghost for months then come back with this HUGHE update that they... claim to be working on that we are lucky to get one or 2 sneak peeks off then its pushed then its pushed then barely anything changes, a few new items are added.

i love the addition of itboys bc of how ridonculous it was, i and a group of others trying out the itboiz just chileld and chatted for an hour or so about the game bugs and constant patches they were doing to fix the update bugs and just bantering that was a epak itgirl moment.

but yeah. it girl is awesome but... like... where are you? [the devs, on the regular]

also them making their made up currency purposely ridiculously hard to get to give it away as prizes for their discord competitions and paywalliing new items from their firs tofficial collab. letsee if its good enough for roblox to feature in their 'the block' music venue thing that telports people to collab events with musicians. DTI has a portal there, doubt they'll make their update food enough but i'd like to be proved wrong and see an itgirlxlaufey stand there too.

anyway its kinda weird that there has been zero promo from laufey or her fanpages about the update, even when its mentioned in her discord nobody cares this is the quietest/oddest update i've known about.

i remembered tiktok is a thing and saw itgirl's post about it getting 33k+ viewws so so thats sick and new laufey fans are joining to try [plus idiotic and probably toddler dti fans spewing wrong or regurgitated false claims against itgirl's owner for the crime of... holding gigi accountable for her actions. but blowing everything out of proportion to slander her, actually so disgusting]

back to the laufeyxitgirl update..

is something wrong that we don't know about? that's why there have been 0 promo images or sneak peaks of the event?

itgirl does have a history of having buggy updates so hm maybe thats a factor into why no one is talking of it much, see how the launch goes and capitalize or brush it under the rug from there. i guess it's for us to find out.

also kinda fucked that THE lady gaga had all the items in her update compatible with the fe, AND masc bodies, highly sneak peaked and previewed AND absolutely free with her own gamemode in style showdown while it girl is having 10 laufey items which we have no idea of which, 3 of which are going to be behind a PAYWALL for a limited time. like. oh naur. i love u itgirl but u are not her, [not even talking about dti just like, in general with the paywalling] i'm kinda worried and might not put out my video and wait too. at least its not a single day thing and we have till early september.

i think laufey was supposed to admin abuse too but that got cancelled or edited out of the post? don't think i'm hallucianting about that. It's just sooooo weird. i worry the more i think about it. might just pause my video or edit it to a more present 'the laufey update is her here!' and add in clips if its not messed up.

i luv getting excited for new itgirl leaks as if they aren't vip exclusive XD. It'd be so much more fun if everyyyy new sneak peak they did after 2 or 3 months of ghosting wasnt behind a paywall so the tired exclusivity feeling won't sink in right after seeing it but whatever i guess
