Doing press at SXSW and somethings you just walk into. This being one example My associates and I found ourselves backstage and found ourselves backstage at a concert for The MTV Woodies. Concert performers included Jake Bugg, Atlas Genius, Alt-J Timeflies, Haim, Tegan & Sara, Twenty One Pilots, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Zedd, Trinidad James, Travi$ Scott, Joey Bada$$ and Pusha-T.

The Robert Glasper Experiment w/ Erykah Badu show at SXSW personally one of my favorites. Smooth instrumentals, Erykah Badu performing a great melody of a few songs. And the Robert Glasper Experiment cover songs from their Black Radio EP doing cover such as No Church in the Wild and a Dilla tribute. This alone was worth admission to SXSW.

Yes I know I’ve been away for a few weeks but I have been on a mission in Texas shooting various shows, Concerts etc. one of the was South by SXSW here are some photo from the the Mass Appeal Show with performances from Rocky Fresh, Pusha-T, Bun-B, with Black Hippy Crew Kendrick Lamar Headlining later Legendary Wu-tang member Raekwon graced the stage.

At the Crofoot in Pontiac Mi, some associates of mine and great producers B.Corder & Benngie DJ’s were DJ’s a set for This Life We Lead, They also preformed a set of mixes they created. They wanted me to film and take pictures of some of the equipment some companies gave to them. here is the result. #Foreign Allegiance.

Today we said celebrated the next chapter at Buckham Gallery for @jamesthigpenjr as he takes his talents to New York. I can say that this dude is one of the few that inspires me. One conversation about photography changed my creative outlook for shooting and made my work better. Oh and he also designed my logo. Thanks for everything keep doing great things.
