Still unsure what it all means. The it will stay that way I can be sure of that at least.

A ton of writing coming soon. In the mean time this is a new side project I made with a few friends of mine. This is the first installment of what will become a multiple character science fiction epic.

Who is "Find Friend" about? It's beautiful.
It's about my painter friend named Emma. Thanks for reading.
Closing out February with this rad, two-night showcase of writers and pals from the area. Clicking through will take you to the Facebook event page!
I set up a two day long poetry reading in Portland to help provide a space for up and coming writers/publishers to shine! So excited hope you can make it to at least one of the nights!

Let's just leave it at this. To which I replied, 'At this'.
Find Friend
she sends me roses, a moon, and a couple diamonds (through the phone) she works in a floral shop among florists she is a painter— in real life. I consider her my best friend even when we don’t speak the silence between us is a well received gift for our dreams I talk to her about painting and she replies, painterly with advice. I listen readerly with adverbial strength writerly my intent becomes Truncated. I stand before a classroom in front of colors and shapes I have put onto a canvas to explain the mistakes I’ve learned from the easel as a writer I think back to mixing colors abandoning the palette knife to swish a round brush instead I consider the outcomes I have presented a vulnerability To offer scenes of isolation with strength they become weakened supports for what I dream: of my visions of my ability. She sends me advice about real life (on the phone) I send roses the phone says, ‘Delivered.’
Tidal
When she said, ‘our bodies made most of water and when the moon shifts the tides of the sea, they shift the tides of our bodies.’ The waters inside change the mind and feelings that coincide I found passage from the cigarette between my fingers to rest in the life rafts that are her lips and the smoke separated my vision from her eyes. She spoke of the train sounds from her window as I listen to a train’s sound from my window. I contemplate my 5 year journal and what will become of the last page what precipice I will be standing before (or after) 5 years from now.
Words and some pictures on the internet.
Reverb is the sound of meditation. Silence is the sound of sleep.
Realia
I am becoming a teacher. I am learning how to become a teacher. I have learned that you can present objects to further explain language, these are called realia. I have to remember that these objects are meant to aid language and serve no further purpose than to stand for themselves. I am becoming realia. I am an object of representation of all the things I wish to become I bought dress shirts to look like a teacher, I stand up straight now (when I remember) and I smile more at strangers.
I will write on a chalk board of language and grammar I am left handed I will have to learn how not to erase while I write ________
and I will rewrite in the erasure blotches of language and grammar on my desk in my classroom there will be a flower vase with chrysanthemums I learned from painters that chrysanthemum stay in bloom longer than most other flowers (making them easier to paint accurately) I am enrolled in a school that does not actually exist as a student of poetry here I write often of the invisible

to understand how to teach I will have to understand what I teach the units I think in; syntax, grammar
and fragments.
I can (not) teach these yet.
