15 years ago, a Mormon missionary by the name of David Sneddon disappeared whilst in China. Originally, Chinese authorities told David’s worried parents that he had fallen into a canyon and died, but suspiciously provided little evidence to support their claim and failed to find a body. Desperate, his family have spent years searching for the truth.

In 2016, Choi Sung-yong, the director of The South Korea Abductees Family Union provided some bizarre new information on the fate of the 24 year old missing person. He strongly believes that David was abducted by North Korea to serve as Kim Jong Un’s personal English Tutor. According to his organisation, North Korea has been kidnapping foreigners for years, in order to provide free tutors for it’s elite. Although disturbing, this information has given David’s family a fresh glimmer of hope.
