In complete honesty, I’ve never felt so shit. Reading solitaire really opened my eyes to what type of person I am. Everyone always relates to Tori but I really resonated with Michael not only as a character but as a personality. I understand what type of person he is, the type who’s been isolated for so long due to his personality being too eccentric for some people to understand him properly. I desperately want to find someone who will understand that I’m not always happy, I want someone who will understand that I’m angry at everything all the time.

solitaire is a love story, just not in the way you'd think.

sure it says this is not a love story on the cover but that doesn't mean much. the book is about tori, tori and Michael, tori and solitaire, tori and becky, and tori and charlie. it shows how tori and michael fall in love, its shows what people (lucas/solitaire) will do for love, its shows how much platonic love matters (becky), and it shows how much sibling love matters (charlie). so sure its not a story about romantic love but it is a love story its a story about tori and all the people that love her and how she loves those people too.

i probably make no sense and this might just be the sleep deprivation taking.
