hello welcome to don't starve osha! Run by @sansmeanswithout you can ask the following don't starve characters Webber, Wx-78 (who prefers to be called Wix), Wormwood, Wortox, Wurt, Wes (who uses sign language), Wendy, Walter, and Warly

the reason for the selection of these characters is a mixture of them being my favorites or characters I'm good at rping as.

there will be no shipping between these characters with the exception of a poly ship between Wix Wormwood and Wes. Otherwise these characters have a found family relationship with each other Warly specifically acting as a parent to the whole group he is a tired dad and could use some help

We also have your average Wilson but he's harder to contact and might need some help

Maxwell is somewhere most likely tormenting Wilson and pulling the strings of various people

An update on the ships

there will be a bit of Maxwell x Wilson but it will be unhealthy and toxic

there will also be Warly x Wilson which will have lots of self care

"hello Mister! We're Webber, that's Wendy and that's Abigail"

He points to an empty space a bit above and behind Wendy for Abigail

"Oh hi!" Ey smiles at them. "I'm Mica. And This," he pulls a smooth purple pebble out of a pocket, "Is Debra. We were talking about where to find more of their pieces."

Wendy stares at the rock "sir that's a rock?"

Webber however just assumes that this is like Wormwood talking to plants "hello Debra!"

Mica tilts his head, eyes unfocusing for a moment.

"Debra says hi back - yes you do Debra, be polite-" he clears his throat slightly, cutting himself off. "And, yes, it is a rock. Debra's trapped inside. But since I picked it up they can talk to me."

Webber taps his foot a little "so she's trapped and wasn't always a rock"

"Well, they always were sort of a rock," he hedges, "Just not a little one. Debra is short for Debrade, they're an earth spirit of erosion."

Wendy seems curious at the mention of spirits "so like a ghost?"

"A little!" Ey grins. "The main difference is that they didn't have to die first."

Wendy seems to lose a bit of interest at that though she's still curious "so has she ever looked like more than rock?"

Webber is idly messing around with some silk though he's still paying attention

"Hmm..." Mica's eyes unfocus again, and then rock stomps once, causing a small stone statue to rise out of the ground. It was of a form that was humanoid in only the vaguest terms, and made of what looked like boulders stacked atop each other, slowly crumbling away - or at least, they would have been if this statue was mobile.

"Debra says this is what they liked to appear as, when they did. Also, just so you know, they're not a she."

Wendy nods and examines the statue a bit more closely "sorry for misgendering you Debra"

the seemingly magical summoning of the statue seems to have peaked Webber's interest "how'd you do that?"

"I asked the rocks to move," he says. "They respond best to motion, so I have to do some of that in order to make it work."

He tucks Debra's pebble back in his shirt-pocket, and a voice like stone scraping against stone speaks in the back of Wendy's mind. "Apology accepted."

Wendy startles ever so slightly "I'm assuming that's Debra?"

Mica nods. "Yeah, they've gotten strong enough to talk to other people too now sometimes, but they don't usually want to."

Wendy nods a "that's okay sometimes I don't want to talk to Abigail is the same way" there's a small breathing sound from the apparently empty spot next to Wendy it's accompanied by white breath like when it's winter despite it not really being cold

Webber has given the statue a cape of spider silk

"That makes sense..." Mica nods again. "What's Abigail like?"

"she likes flowers and climbing!"

Webber nods "she also likes birds"

"Climbing is fun!" Mica smiles. "I like to climb cliffs sometimes to look at the cool rock strata..."

"falling off of them isn't fun though"

"No, it really isn't," he agrees. "That's why I try really hard not to do that."

"that's a good policy"

"It comes highly recommended," he agrees. "But, I suppose it is easier when I can make handholds anywhere I want."

Webber smiles "I can do stuff like that to!" he runs over to a nearby wall and using some small bundles of spider silk climbs up the wall

"Oh that's really cool!" Mica grins. "How do you do that?"

"spider silk can be sticky and the strength of it it very high"

Wendy has placed a red flower on the ground an outline of a ghost can now be seen

"So you can just make as much of the silk as you want?" ey asks, before turning and seeing the ghost's outline.

"Oh! Are you Abigail then?"

Webber shakes his head "no I can run out and then have to eat the silk to replenish"

Wendy nods "this is my sister"

"I see..." He shifts his weight slightly, rocking on his toes a little. "Well hello Abigail, sister of Wendy. Do you have a favorite rock?"

Wendy seems to be able to hear Abigail "she says she likes chalk"

"Oh, that's a great one! Did you know chalk is made of billions of fossils of microscopic sea creatures?" ey smiles, gesturing with his hands. "It's really just a specific grain size of limestone, actually, when you think about it... The chemical composition is very similar anyway."

the whispering is now audible to everyone though hard to make out "yes I saw some of the bigger fossils in the wall when I was falling"

"Fascinating, isn't it?" he says, continuing to rock on his toes. "What do you mean, falling?"

"Debra says this is what they liked to appear as, when they did. Also, just so you know, they're not a she."
