saw your post about the dina casting and i completely agree, what also pisses me off is that isabela didn’t audition for the role and knows nothing about dina at all, just from one interview alone she mischaracterizes her so much. it’s very infuriating bc they didn’t do my bb dina any justice.

I KNOW. this pissses me off the fucking most!!! she didnt even have to audition, doesnt know anything about the character and as much as i love her and dont want to be overly critical and parasocial is so weird about her character.

i remember when the season first dropped and this girl thought she created the ship name dellie ???? like thats been a tag on tumblr longer than the show has existed… i just hate hate hate this casting more than anything and ill probably never shut up about it.

she didnt have to prove herself at all, she was just gifted this role and she did an okay job. i dont know why a woman so passionate about representation would purposely take rep away from another very underrepresented group of women, but its very ignorant.

dina tlou is my favourite character ever in the world, but dina tlou HBO is cannot stand you.
