Week 15
Our class is over and I definitely have mixed emotions. I learned a lot from Chef. I learned to always make sure I clock in because a job employer is not gunna tell you when you didn’t clock in and it is up to you to be responsible. He taught me that cleanliness is key to being professional because you have to look the part and take everything you do seriously if you want to succeed. He taught me to always make sure I love what I do and to not be afraid to ask questions because getting help is okay. I also learned how to cook things I never thought I’d be able to cook. I truly learned a lot of important things that I will forever take away from this class. There are so many facts about food and the origins of food that I never would have known. Chef also taught us to never eat, but to taste. Always taste our food when we eat it and really know what we are eating and look for certain flavors. Hence, my blog name donteattaste. This was one class I will never forget nor will I forget the things I learned.
