I wish I could discover Supernatural for the first time again.

I miss the feeling of excitement as I rewatched episodes for only the 2nd or 3rd time. I miss writing a fix-it fic right after an episode because there weren’t enough brotherly moments. I miss when I was 16 and went to a convention for the first time. I miss meeting new Supernatural fans and geeking out with them!

Now I’ve seen most episodes 20 times (probably more). I don’t have enough time or motivation to write. I’m 31 and can no longer afford conventions.

Will I ever find that kind of happiness again? 🤣

I had an interesting development while watching Supernatural, I followed the series for 15 years. And this has been my evolution, I would like to know if you have gone through the same thing or that:

When I turned 15, I fell in love with Dean Winchester until I was 18. Why? Because he's wild, tough, he has no filter, he's protective, he's toxic. He's the kind of guy your parents would forbid you to see, because he's a bad influence. You can run away with him in that '67 Impala and roar on the road.

When I turned 20 I became interested in Sam Winchester. Why? Because he's empathic, he's got manners, he's smart, geek, he loves to read and educate himself.

He is the kind of man your parents would love, with whom you will live a quiet life with a house, a dog, maybe two children... a huge library.

I'm currently 25 years old. I still have a huge crush with Dean Winchester ("my first love") but I can't help feeling levitating when Sam shows up.
