Sticking to my resolution to clown-ify the characters I draw for attacks!

idk how active I’ll be in ArtFight this go-around bc I usually end up only being able to do a few each year anyway, but my plan this year is to draw other characters as clowns. inspired by the overall theme itself. so prepare for that.

#I don’t have any OCs posted anymore on account of. well. not using them at all #like. anything I post would be forced and wouldn’t really have feeling behind it #but I enjoy the opportunity to make art. so. yeah

for a while now I’ve had an idea to repaint “death of ophelia” but closer to how it’s implied she actually died. Not on accident, as beautiful young woman picking flowers and trying to climb trees, singing songs and unaware of the water weighing down her skirts, as the queen relayed it, but by suicide, only in her bare underclothes. Should my skill allow it, I’d add the attendants that found her, standing on the bank in horror.

Hasty recreation of a large man attached to an impossibly small puppy, spotted in a parking lot. I’m talking still-velvety, clumsily walking, fat little feet kinda puppy. Omg.

Sometimes my negative thoughts start to have a dog motif (derogatory) to them, so this song really resonates with me when I get caught in that kind of thinking loop. Under the cut is a “page” version of the comic, as well as the original sketch.

#my art #I didn’t feel like correcting them. the solution to both is the pretty much the same #on a separate note. I really do have to see a doctor about this. I already knew that but like #this is the third month in a row that midol hasn’t prevented me from reaching this level of pain #up until now it’s been the only medicine that actually helps. so. yeah. looking bad.

watching Rusty Lake playthroughs has revived the artistic concept in my head of a violent and bloody rabbit. I don’t know how to turn it into a solid composition yet, but here are some sketches circling the idea.

So uh… my old color palettes started blowing up out of nowhere and it made me wanna make a new batch and ‘remix’ some of the older ones. The fun part about this one is that all of the palettes are named after (and sorta based on) songs I’ve listened to or added to playlists!

As always, these are free to use and people are free to send these with a character for me to draw!
