it’s only been four days? sometimes it’s normal for things to pick up. you could’ve given it some time, everyone has been so dedicated to creating their characters and you yourself creating this universe

hey there ! i'm going to answer this because i'm sure many people are curious and i would actually like to share what things have been like on my end. 

before we opened, i'm sure everyone remembers how much attention this group got, which was really encouraging ! and i was honestly putting in overtime, to make sure this group was successful. however, i also got quite a few disrespectful anons. mostly people who didn't feel that they could read something as basic as a rules or faq page - all of which i put a lot of effort in to make things as easy as possible for you guys.

after opening, the disrespectful messages continued. this time, people feeling entitled to requesting that we change our rules as they see fit or criticizing the group for not taking enough precaution against things that haven’t even taken place (much less had a chance to). for instance, as you guys saw, i got a lot of flack for not placing a mun limit, as it would be "overwhelming" otherwise. but the dash was already incredibly slow, a few people were already asking to be unfollowed, and many more didn't even post an intro. this is an anon we got just the other day after reopening 10+ roles

so just by that message, obviously it wasn't just red and i that noticed the immediate decline in interest in this group. also an entire day would go by before people would write on the dash. i've been in enough groups to know that's not typical for a group with 30+ members.

like you said, a lot of effort has been put into developing this world i've created, however that effort and passion was shared by only a few people. and again, like you said, all of this happened in only a span of four days. personally, i wasn't looking forward to this week's activity check just to reopen pretty much everyone except the 6 people who had been writing.

          hey   everyone   !   after   some   consideration,   i’ve   decided   to   just   rip   the   bandaid   off   and   let   this   group   go.   this   decision   didn’t   come   lightly,   as   i   think   this   is   the   most   effort   i’ve   given   in   putting   a   group   together   and   i   was   really,   really   excited   to   see   it   all   come   into   fruition.   however,   we’ve   only   been   open   for   four   days   and   the   dash   never   really   picked   up   and   if   anything,   only   got   slower   despite   having   around   thirty   members.   so   i   just   feel,   i’d   rather   let   things   go   now   and   not   waste   your   guys’   time   further.   though   i   would   like   to   say   thank   you   to   those   that   stuck   around   and   put   effort   into   this   group,   those   that   showed   passion   and   appreciation   for   this   group   -   it   really   showed   and   you   have   no   idea   how   much   it   meant   to   me   <3

hi!! How would you suggest interacting with a member who you reach out to plot with and they either give a disinterested reply or don’t know who you’re playing? Sometimes it’s obvious to me some people don’t read the mun intros and i’m bad at confrontation, what would you do?

          hi   anon   !   i   really   appreciate   you   coming   to   us   with   this   as   we   really   do   understand   how   difficult   and   disheartening   a   situation   such   as   this   can   be.   however,   other   than   directly   sending   the   other   person   your   intro   and   possibly   some   wanted   connections,   red   and   i   don't   think   there's   much   else   you   can   do   on   your   end   if   you're   still   receiving   a   similar   response   !   and   so   we   want   to   just   remind   everyone   that   plotting   is   a   two - way   street,   and   no   one   can   expect   the   other   person   to   do   all   the   heavy   lifting.   so   i   feel   it's   best   to   just   do   what   you   can   and   if   nothing   comes   of   it   still,   to   just   step   away   knowing   you   did   your   best   !   we   don't   want   you   to   feel   like   you   have   to   force   yourself   in   uncomfortable   situations   like   this   when   it   seems   like   you're   not   receiving   the   same   level   of   respect   that   you're   giving.
