been gone for a minute, I return with my Offdensen Family HCs/OCs. I'm probably not gonna post here very often anymore, I just find myself a bit too busy to keep up with a lot of social media. So, anyways, feel free to read :3
Mary Offdensen, The Mother She's extremely work focused. She loves her family, although she might be a little over critical of them, especially following her husband's disappearance. She was initially disapproving of Charles association with DK, thinking little of the band's potential, however changed her mind when she saw how happy charles seemed. Shes since grown somewhat fond of DK, though she hasn't ever formally met the band. She gets into arguments with Charles about how he "coddles" Penny during her "melodramatic fits". She loves her daughter and her granddaughter but admittedly wishes Penny lived a different life. This causes there to be a lot of tensions in the family. She believes her husband may be dead, and never really moved on from his disappearance, though she's tried to not let it affect her anymore. It still does.
Henry Offdensen, The Father He was a big, hulking sort of man. As Charles mentions, he has strong hands :3 He worked some sort of physical job, i haven't really decided what yet. He likes music, though he never learned how to play any instrument. He was very supportive of his kids, in whatever it was they wanted to do. He was very quiet, and it made it hard to tell exactly what he was thinking. He shared his love mostly through interests, like hunting and cooking and his favorite music. I picture the offdensen house being very warm and full of personality, mostly because of how Henry likes to decorate the house. Super rustic, lots of hunting memorabilia, and family photos almost falling off the fireplace. He took Charles hunting a few times with him. He would've taken the girls had they shown any interest. He never came home from work one evening, sometime when his kids were mostly "grownups" ( anywhere from charles being like 16 at the youngest and like 24 or something at the oldest). His disappearance started a slight rift in the family dynamic that never quite returned to the way it was.
Christine Elenore Offdensen, The Older Sister. Chrissy is the eldest. Like her brother and her mother, she's very work oriented. She travels frequently, and will visit Charles if they're in the same place. The two of them get along fine. She doesn't really dislike Dethklok as a band, but finds them irritating as people. She can be very "corporate" and tends to come off as very cold. She and Penny think DK enables charles's more off putting behavior, though they don't like to bring it up around him, worried they'll further create a rift between the family and DK. She's met the band once, but they don't remember her, because they were all shitfaced,,,
Penelope Tatiana Offdensen, The Younger Sister Penny is the youngest. She feels very judged, all the time, even if there wasn't any real judging going on. She feels very worn down by her mother, who passive aggressively tells her she's not exactly thrilled with where her life has ended up. She's close with her siblings, though she turns to them for different things, usually Chrissy for emotional problems and Charles for more financial help/favors. She believes herself to be the "Fun offdensen" but also the most "messed up one". She would describe herself as the eccentric crazy aunt a lot people just seem to have. She has a daughter, who she loves. She gets by, and lives relatively comfortably. She has asked Charles to watch her daughter on more than one occasion, especially when she finds herself in one of her self described "moods". Charles, when requested, tries to go to her house rather than have his niece stay at Mordhaus. With Penny having some slight addiction problems, he's not sure if being around Dethklok would be good for her, or her daughter. She knows of Dethklok, and thinks that they seem fun, but generally not very appreciative of her brother's hard work, which Charles may or may not have been complaining about to her. Penny and Chrissy's biggest complaint is that they never see Charles in person anymore, because he's always holed up in Mordhaus, working with the band or working on tours.
I have a lot more, but that's the general gist of it. I might do more in depth posts about the Chrissy and Penny, because I really do love them so muchhh.
