I love how art programs have spent decades building tools to ape traditional materials and techniques digitally, while at the same time artists have gone ahead and aped the digital funk of MSpaint and bad photoshop in traditional mediums. That's just really fun to me!

something i really love about higurashi is the various ways characters perceive the violence, and it feels like such a wasted opportunity for the adaptations to always take the route of extremely graphic literal depictions. so i'm taking a swing at it myself, with a series of pieces on the subject (i'm planning on 4 in total, but we'll see what happens)
