I’m usually not a big fan of wedding scenes because, come on, we’ve seen them so many times in so many variations. And in a lot of them I’m like, “yeah, yeah, we know you’re in love—let’s see what happens when real life kicks in.”

But with Gallavich, I just can’t stop rewatching and tear my eyes away and replay it in my mind whenever I need to believe in smth good again.

'Cause they’ve already been through all the shit: worse (worst actualy), poverty, sickness. They know for sure they’ll face it all again. Ian’s diagnosis is still there, and it’s not like they have bright career prospects.

When they say the vows, they’re not saying them just because it’s a ritual. They can back up every word with real experience — and with the readiness to stick with each other through it all, again and again.

When they say “till death do us part,” I fucking believe them. They WILL love and cherish, as they always did, no matter what.

You know what idea I find delightful?

Markus is used to have his companions disagree with him all the time, but in the end they still respect his decisions, like „Yeah, this might be a trap, but sure, go talk to the humans alone if you think that’s for the best.“

But then, he suddenly meets the „Why do you never fucking listen to what people tell you, Connor?“-energy of the newest addition to his squad.

Connor doesn’t argue, he just blinks a few times and stays silent, but the moment Markus heads out to wherever he’s supposed to go all by himself, he is followed by Connor whom he just can’t shake away. Eventually, Markus asks what Connor is doing, only to get

„I never said I agree to let you do this alone. Sorry, Markus, but my priority is to make sure you don’t die.“

And he simply CANNOT make Connor leave him alone unless he physically removes him from his side, but even then, Connor is gonna follow whenever he gets the chance.

Yeah.
