Brayden was currently sitting at the bar where his counterpart worked and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of calm. Sure, no one knew him but he knew everyone there. Lucas had been showing an interest in a blonde bombshell and just like always, he chickened out and Brady had to take over. She turned out to be just as dumb as she looked and he quickly dismissed her. No sooner had he said goodbye he made eye contact with a girl across the bar and before he knew it, he was sitting next to her and smiled. “Are you as bored as I am?” He asked, his accent thick but low in the noisy bar.
Fran hadn’t expected for the male to actually approach her but before she knew it, he was sitting next to her. She returned the smile, wondering when her other self would sober up enough that she would take back over. Someone would be in the shock of their life if she suddenly switched. “That may be the understatement of the year.” Her brows furrowed slightly at his accent, trying to place it. “You’re not from around here, are you?” She asked rather dumbly, feeling like it’d be rude to just flat out ask him where he was from. “I’m Fran.”
