About me: Hi! I'm Jasmine, a YA indie author about to enter my third year (eek) of publishing. I'm also a second year engineering student! I am currently writing a series of short sci-fi stories and writing for two indie animated shows <3

Previous works: -The Nightshade duology: A dark academia duology following a boarding school student as she attempts to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of a secretive family that used to live on the school grounds. Book one available here | Book two available here -Memoriam: A supernatural mystery standalone revolving around a girl who inherits a hotel in the afterlife, only to find that she has been there before, if she can just piece together the details. Available here -The Jane Doe diaries: An ongoing short story series surrounding a timetraveller who has been going so long that she has forgotten her identity. Story one here

Current wips: - Jane Doe Diaries- Butterfly effect Status: To release on Ko-fi (24/12/25) Second story in the Jane doe diaries series following what happens when three time travellers go to tudor england, and freya makes a small but grave mistake that may cost Gill his life - Chronicles of the isles animated series Status: Pilot episode due to release spring-summer 2026 Plot: A runaway bride turned pirate captain finds the fate of the world falls to her as she must race to stop her lover from bringing about the return of a cursed god -Project.Immortal (title TBA) Status: drafting (20% through) Plot: A cruel side effect of a bet between gods leaves five teenagers immortal, after a couple of centuries pass they find that the world is very small when you are trying to avoid someone who lives forever. -Project.Forest (title TBA) Status: Drafting (10% through) Plot: Ingrid was raised on bedtime stories of magical beings in the woods, however despite how wonderful they all sound there was one rule she was always told: Never enter the forest. however after her father disappears one day she must, and she finds that his bedtime stories weren't the full truth -Project.Devious (title TBA) Status: Planning Plot: Two rivals end up at the same university and come to the realisation that now they're on the same playing field that all their fighting didn't amount to anything, and now the only ones who seem to understand them is eachother

No one told me that the pilgrimage was a race And that the fallen would become an empty headline

Do you truly think the congregation will listen? To them a rapture is a fantasy Why do they suddenly need proof to believe it’s real?

Questions are blasphemy, The death of passion is sacreligion I was once your favourite, And now too I have fallen from grace

Starting a new WIP? deffo not me

The screening is nothing more than a whisper in the night air. There’s no billing, no tickets, just a locked theatre and a group of attendees dressed to the nines, and you are certainly not meant to be here.

Surely no one would notice, there must be a few dozen people here at least you’re just a face in the crowd. At least that is what you’re counting on, no movie screening is ever completely full.

The first sign was that the lights brightened instead of dimmed, a woman with soft loose curls walks with a steady beat to the centre of the screen. “Welcome one and all to our latest salon” her sharply pointed smile stretches the crimson on her lips.

You lean back in your seat, getting comfortable for whatever was to come with the evening, until.

“I see that we have a new attendee” the hair stands electric on the back of your neck, blood running cold with horror. Yet the woman does not seem angry, or shocked, all you are met with is the same cemented smile and a slow, unhurried approach up the steps accentuated by the tapping of Louboutins, coming to a calculated pause at your row.

“Not to worry, all you have to do is pay your admission fee” her arm raises with an expectancy to stand that you do not even consider ignoring, delicately tiptoeing out of the row. When she takes you down to the screen she does not ask your name, but announces it anyway.

“For our first of the night, you take the stage”

For me:

Last years goal: 200 orders, publish 3 short stories and 1 novel

Where I got: 370 orders, 2 short stories and a novel published
