I'm super excited to FINALLY share my Mollymauk.
Photos by Kanamera Photography who was absolutely wonderful to work with and returned photos in LESS THAN 24 HOURS, LIKE WOAH!
Everything for this costume was made by me with the exception of the boots and the mug. It's been a year in the making, but I'm super proud! I still have a lot of adjustments to make and a few more details to add, but it's coming together!
I am so excited to see these pictures. A huge thanks to @shuttercrazyphotos for the wonderful shots. Milady was a crazy experience (one that I'm still technically working on, but that project is top secret right now). She has over 80 yards of fabric and 350+ hours of work. The details are freehand embroidered with a standard sewing machine. The hoopskirt is also made by me and boasts a 5 foot circumference.

Seeking Beach City Con Roomies
I know it's last minute, but if anyone happens to still be seeking roommates for the convention, we would love to have you. We have a room at the host hotel from Thursday-Sunday. There are currently 4 of us, the room can accommodate 6. (Two beds and a pull out). The people joining me are coming from the West coast and are trying to cut costs where we can.
I haven't posted in a while, been working in some great things! First up is Jasper! Did a makeup test today and will be debuting her at @beachcitycon !
I'm trying to make a point of being more active online, instead of just around cons. A friend of mine asked me to cosplay this with her and I'm super stoked. Expect more progress shots on my cosplays, I have a lot on my agenda for the rest of the year. Next con is Beach City Con, then NekoCon, and then a couple huge projects for Katsucon.
Cosplay Tip:
Don’t just take serious photos, try to come up with some silly poses too. Have fun with photo shoots!
Blerdcon
Holy crap, where do I begin??? First off, I'm really upset that I was only able to make it to the Friday of con. BECAUSE THE ENTIRE THING WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME Seriously, I wish there were more conventions like this. It was so well run, the content of the panels was appealing, the guests were phenomenal, the venue was a good size yet intimate, had one of the best artist alley/vendors room I've been in (for the people, supportive of the artists and not the usual commercialized bullshit), and most importantly:. EVERYONE WAS SO POSITIVE. I've never seen a con group so collectively happy and supportive of each other. I was concerned at first, that it wouldn't be a place for me. No one felt like an outsider at Blerdcon. The conversations I had with people were lively and fun, everyone was willing to share their experiences and expertise and just have a good time. I was also very happy my Zarya costume was well received as well and it gives me courage to continue cosplaying!
