Being into the whole king arthur thing is hard because on one hand you want to uphold the canon and seriousness that comes with a centuries-old mythology that initially stemmed from a real world historical account and on the other hand you see it for the world's longest-running string of fanfictions that it is and just want to out and out say that you think bedivere and kay are legally married, run the castle like a sitcom, and while all of the questing or whatever's going on they're just in the background getting into weird spats about what color napkins should be used at the next banquet
