Linda Miller is an American storyboard artist and animator.

Raised in the San Fernando Valley, she got inspired to animating after seeing the Pastoral Symphony segment from Fantasia on TV. She studied art history at Pepperdine University, and studied illustration and drawing at Art Center. Disney layout artist Guy Diehl pointed her toward Walt Disney Productions in the late 1970s, where she was accepted into the Disney Feature Training Program.

While animating on the sparrow and Widow Tweed in The Fox and the Hound at Disney, director Don Bluth abruptly resigned his position at the studio. Animators John Pomeroy and Gary Goldman quit Disney’s at the same time, and the following day, Linda Miller was the first of a dozen animation employees to tender resignations and join Mr. Bluth on the independent animated feature The Secret of NIMH. In the early nineties, Linda departed Bluth-Sullivan before it went out of business to work in other other studios like Disney Television Animation.

Obscure Animation Subject #242: Dr. Slump (1997)

Yeah after Dragon Ball GT ended its run, we got this. One of the first anime series from Toei to use digital ink-and-paint animation, it had 74 episodes of 93 individual segments from November 26, 1997 to September 22, 1999, airing on Fuji TV, before being replaced by One Piece by the end of its run. It also had a film adaptation, Arale's Surprise Burn.

In 2021, it was released in the United States by Tubi with english subtitles.

The series was chief directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi and head written by Satoru Nishizono, with music provided by Funta and was produced by Daisuke Kawakami, Tatsuya Yoshida and Yōko Matsuzaki.

The series even had a few episodes that were a crossover with Dragon Ball.

Not really much to say here really, it’s a fine show as is, but I prefer the 1981 classic, so yeah.

Glenn Kirkpatrick is a retired American-Australian storyboard artist and animation director. Beginning his career at Hanna-Barbera in 1982, he would later work for Disney’s Australian and Japanese units, Film Roman and Klasky Csupo. By 2002, he founded his own studio in Australia, Funnyazhell Animation, renamed as Downunderground Productions in 2018. By 2024, he retired from the industry.

As seen above, he also wrote a book known as Flash Cartoon Animation: Learn from the Pros with Kevin Peaty, published on December 12, 2003.

For King of the Hill, he was the animation director on 52 episodes of the show, including the pilot.
