Whew… I’m finally done!
I decided to draw (most of) the characters from The Wiz. If you haven’t seen that play, go buy a ticket right now.

Break the ice; have our muses interact!
This includes not only if our characters haven’t met yet, but even if they already have.
“Are you lost?“ ‘And you are?” “Who are you?” “I don’t think we’ve met.” “How old are you?” “How long have you been there?” “Can I trust you?” “Who do you think you are?” “Are you wearing my clothes…?” “You’re cute.“ “Would you like to go on a date with me?” “People are watching.” “Be Careful!” “Help me!” “I’ve got bad news.“ “Hate to break it to you.. but ___ is dead." "I will never forgive you.” “I’m sorry…” “Why are you so angry?" "Just kill me!” “This is where it ends.” “Victory!" "Stay close!” “Watch it!” “Why don’t you hate me?!" "You can’t just give up… not now!”
The rapid fire offers to help drew a smile onto the flustered woman’s face, and soon enough she found herself laughing at the little girl warmly. A pause, and she was introducing herself. Cece or Poppy– mentally, the librarian filed the name away. She never had been the best at remembering names, but she had a feeling this little girl would be hard to forget.
“Poppy– I’m Belle. It’s very nice to meet you.”
She shuffled the posters around in her hands, thinking a moment before grinning once more, “Well, I’ve put up… probably about fifteen posters already. Can you think of any good places we could put them up? That’s what I’m having a lot of trouble with.”
“Belle?” Poppy asked slowly, testing the name out. “That’s pretty, I like it! It’s nice to meet you too, Belle!” She smiled brightly, her head tilting to look at the posters in Belle’s hands. She studied them for a moment, as if the posters themselves were going to tell her where they wanted to put up.
“What about...by Granny’s? Did you put any up over there?” People went in and out of Granny’s all the time. It was a great place to put up a poster!
“Oh! And what about by the schools? And by the park and the playground!” She tried to list places that she went all the time. If she went there, other kids went there- and, if other kids went, then their parents usually went too. They were perfect places to put up a poster about a big family event, right?

Toto had immediately started to bark at the figure, yipping loudly and rushing around with his tail wagging fiercely. Luckily, Dorothy wasn’t very far behind, and she was able to scoop up her four-legged friend before he started jumping around.
“’M sorry about Toto.” She apologized quickly, looking down at the figure. He surprised her, as he was shorter than she was, and she was pretty short herself. Her head tilted slightly when she saw he was wearing a cloak.
“Aren’t you hot in that?”
