when oscar wilde said 'i am tired of myself tonight, i should like to be someone else' and when sylvia plath said 'i wish i knew what to do with my life, what to do with my heart' and when rilke said 'this heavy humanness'

an aesthetic;
A man who has never shown support for Taylor is about to own 98% of her discography.
The six albums she’s released. The soundtrack singles. The unreleased music.
Let me remind you what the 6 albums of Taylor Swift contains.
Self-titled was about growing up, going through hard changes and figuring out who you were. Love songs, breakup songs, songs about bullies, eating disorders, and just trying to figure out how the world works.
Fearless was about no worrying about the past and to just keep believing in a new future. It’s about change, it’s about evolution, it’s about turning yourself into a stronger person by reflecting your past.
Speak Now was about being a hopeless romantic. Being in the honeymoon phase all the time; getting the rush of being in love at such a young age. Speak Now was about speaking up for yourself, whether it was confessing love or defending yourself when getting torn down, and slowly diving into the pool of romance.
Red was about heartbreak, and figuring out life after it. It’s about reflection and dealing with the self-deprivation of “what did I do wrong?” during a break up. It’s about figuring out who you are and that heartbreak doesn’t define you.
1989 is about remembering who you are, and falling in love again after being afraid to. It’s about enjoying the small things, and just having fun. To not stress about hate. To not dwell on the what if’s. It’s about starting over, mending your past and finally accepting who you are.
Reputation is about keeping ahold of who you are. It’s about realizing that you’re worth so much more than what people say about you, that you have people who care about you who don’t care about your reputation, and that even in the lowest of your time, you can always rise above.
Taylor Swift is a songwriter, she has written/co-written every single one of her songs. These albums are her storybooks. Each album tells a different era of her life. Now, she doesn’t have the rights to her stories. The stories she’s been telling since 2006. Not to mention, the person who DOES have the rights doesn’t care about Taylor — just about how much certain songs sell.
This isn’t right. This isn’t fair. Taylor, I’m sending all of my love to you. You will rise above this. I know that, because you taught me so.
@taylorswift it’ll be okay.

omg if baby oil dissolves condoms what the fuck does it do to babies???
This may be shocking, but babies and condoms are made of different material
it’s like rock paper scissors: baby oil defeats condom, baby defeats baby oil, condom defeats baby
The Bratz outfits were always on point, still my fashion inspiration
is everyone who reblogged this okay?

the way Alex Turner sings “when you say i don’t care, but of course i do yeah, i clearly do” in Mardy Bum makes me want to dIE ok

i showed this to a kid at my school and he tried to tell me these were all correct
So I used to have a Russian friend who had a pretty thick accent and like a lot of Russians tended to eschew articles. She would say things like “Get in car.” And stuff.
Well one day this asshole who had been kind of tagging along with us asks her why she talks like that because it makes her sound dumb and I still remember her response word for word.
“Me? Dumb? Maybe in America you have to say get in THE car because you are so stupid that people might just get in random car, but in Russia we don’t need to say that. We just fucking know because we are not stupid.”
One time I was proof reading a paper for a Russian student. As I was correcting her paper with her, the many mistakes in her grammar started weighing on her. I asked her what was wrong, and she said, almost sobbing,
“In Russian I am so intelligent and clear. In English I am like [an] idiot”
Respect to anyone trying to master a foreign language. I get so sad thinking about that student.
Full offense but people who make fun of someone else’s accent or belittle their limited vocabulary when they’re speaking a language not native to them are fucking disgusting and are just begging to be punched.
They’re speaking your language because you don’t know theirs. That’s not something they should be made fun of, it’s something that should be commended because learning a language is hard fucking work.
I hate people who do this so much.
Dylan is taking the Jeep home, and now I’m emotional and unreasonably happy and imagining him driving it for ridiculous Chipotle runs because obviously?
