Ok so to make a more serious post on this. Just a little more serious dw

I don't think any fandom should be a place where people are hesitant to post queer content, which is what happened to me in my first Hui posts. There's always assholes and that sucks, but they can't really control what other fans do in any shape or form, whether they like it or not. They can whine but that's it. I could go on and on about fandom etiquette but I don't have anything to say to them that hasn't been said before.

What I will say is that if I felt the need to reply to that ask instead of letting it rot in my inbox, it's because this particular depiction of this character is something I made to see myself represented, and I know others who also see themselves in it. Which warms my heart immensely. The value of loving what you make and letting others love it too has so much more weight than someone bitter on the other side of the screen.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wanted to dunk on anon a little but I'm gonna keep doing what I like and what makes me happy, and I encourage others to do it too
