A home for forgotten but very loved abandonware

I get a lot of questions about the ultimate collection, and like most I got the UC during the promotion where it was given away for free a coupe of years ago. But, EA has announced they will no longer be giving out the UC. They haven’t supported it in years, or even sold it. So it is officially abandonware, and has found it’s home on oldgamesdownload.com, a trusted website that only uploads abandonware, primarily classic and older games. So no, you do not have to worry about piracy.

I will not be answering questions, or help with installing, or ‘fixing’ the game to work with win10. Because they have a very handy and straight forward youtube tutorial on how to install the UC, and the internet has a million links (like this one) on how to remedy the graphical issues that win10 users experience.

I also will no longer be answering questions about the UC, since I added all of this to my FAQ page.

TS2 NOTIFICATION TEMPLATES + SPEECH / THOUGHT BUBBLES

I’ve made a lot of these template for S*4 (see here) and I figured I would make some for TS2, even though I can not for the LIFE of me find extracted icons? Eghk, whatever. If you want, here are some S*4 icons you can download, I’ve been using those.

So I have two templates for you, they are photoshop documents. So needless to say you will need photoshop to edit/open them.

Some photoshop experience is required to use these, like how to edit text fields, merge layers, and scaling. There are instructions on how to efficiently use them in the download folder in a note pad file.

@alienpod’s new post (and their thoughts about chemistry) reminded me that I actually wanted to post these from the prima guide when I looked it up a few weeks ago. It’s interesting how complicated the chemistry system is! (I mean I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s sims 2)
