oh? haha that actualy was so random, so i have to tell you the whole story.
it was a wonderful night (5 am) when my friend and i were doing a group project. apparently, having lost hours of sleep, it seems, that i also lost a couple of my brain cells, because for some reason, i started doodling shizune in my notebook. somewhere nearby, I drew a picture of kakuzu with the caption "groom"
you know, in the words of the classics, "I thought, this is somehow connected!" and as with the situation with fleur d'orange, I decided to combine them together.
and i be like "oh, you know, it would be funny if shizune, during her travels with tsunade, just crossed paths with kakuzu in some bar where they complained to each other about how hard it is to be the only responsible person in their circle. back then, they didnt knew about akatsuki as an organization, and shizune thought it was just a strange, sullen guy in a fashionable coat." and like maybe, maybe she would throw at him that she would be glad to meet him again sometime
and of course they met a second time when kakuzu's corpse was delivered to konoha
it just so happened that they were just fun to draw together. because I found this fucked up story so damn funny. i think their appearance and behavior can be quite deceiving. this applies to their self/damage-control in stressful situations. and I also think shizune likes 'em older ;). also kakuzu seems to really appreciate responsible and active people.
i actually like to think that they actively correspond via letters and periodically send each other various gifts. (it would be great if kakuzu could send shizune, who is already sitting in the office/laboratory 24/7, various souvenirs from his favorite attractions.) or kakuzu will write some postscript where he will describe what terrain he will be crossing in the near future, and maybe, if shizune wants, of course, they can cross paths. in general, they are reserved with each other, even in correspondence, although it sometimes seems quite intimate. even if they use some very secret shrift so as not to be tracked, they do not talk much about their work, yes. but even so, they simply share... their thoughts and everyday life. this could be an idea for a live personal diary format. this is suitable because they are both rational in nature, so advice on a particular situation is also included
