Wild to think I dismiss Automattic just over ten years ago. I then went through the audition (trial) process after applying about 2 years later (March 2016).
A lot has changed since that article (and the talk it was based on - Lean Startup Talk) but the core aspects are still the same.
And the funniest part is I posted the link on a social site that Automattic now owns.
ONE MORE TIME...
blink are “back” and I love it. It’s like being 15 and hearing Enema again. Spotify embed of ONE MORE TIME… by blink-182 I’m catching a few nice throwbacks to everything in their career. A few BCR and +44 hints at least. (Yes, yes I am tagging this as Music Monday as I first put it on yesterday.)

Seven years
Seven years at Automattic.
Seven is my favourite number. I wouldn’t say lucky since I can’t tie any luck to it but it is a number I’m fond of. Looking back on my blog posts, as someone who is often fond of anniversaries or milestones, I only found my one and two year anniversary posts of joining Automattic, and the mention of my booking in my Sabbatical but not of the actual event. So, it’s apt that I post something here…
