#Fridayfeeling has arrived & it is time for an unusual coffee drink. ☕️ This week, I tried @califiafarms Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew. Score: 7/10 - I'm lactose intolerant so I'm always happy when I find a non-dairy drink that works. The almond milk does make the drink a bit thinner than you'd expect with milk but not to the point of being watery. The peppermint comes through as a hint that balances with the mocha rather than overpowering it. I would have maybe liked the mocha to come through a bit more strongly as coffee so this felt less like chocolate milk. Part of me is wondering what would happen if I heated this up and treated it like hot chocolate? I bet that would be yum. #coffee #coffeetime #foodreview #coldbrewcoffee

We are no strangers to @theoinkster 🐽 in Hollywood but until now I had stuck to the (yummy) pastrami. This time though I threw caution to the wind and tried their Cluckster sandwich 🐓. It is a buttermilk fried chicken breast, topped w/ house Ranch, Buffalo sauce, sliced pickles, & lettuce on bun. I was a bit worried about the Buffalo sauce because I am not a spicy heat person but I didn't have any trouble w/it at all. The chicken was SO good.😍Lightly crispy on the outside but super tender underneath. The whole thing was drippy - a three napkin sandwich - but it was SO worth it. Since starting my new job,I have treated myself at the end of the week by indulging in a new 'Unusual Coffee Drink Friday' tradition. ☕️ This week,I tried out Vietnamese Latte Cold Brew Coffee from Secret Squirrel - @squirrelbrew . Score: 8/10 - really smooth taste,not ridiculously expensive & it did help wake me up. Only downside is the cream which is,in many ways also what makes it taste as nice as it does. The bottle does warn you to shake but I shook the bottle for my entire walk back from the store (a good 10 minutes) and there were still clumps of cream that had not blended.
