You didnât specify which one so I went with Psyker :âD This looks awful I weep but have it nevertheless \(owo)/
broken-puppeteer:
GoodâŠday?
Being lost in thought over what he was going to do with the lovely new fabric he had purchased the other day, Shu couldnât react immediately to the greeting. Not that he would have normally, as he hadnât realized that somebody would just call out to him. He hadnât many acquaintances in Bellevue, and certainly none that would greet him like so.
ââŠgood day.â
The waterfall of words that came out of the man that had called out to him and Mademoiselle was lost on Shu and he stared at the other, debating on just how disrespectful it would be to just walk away now without giving a proper response. He glanced at Mademoiselle, shifting his hold so it was more comfortable before going over the manâs words again, picking it apart bit by bit.
âIf it is a tour guide you are looking for, I would suggest you ask another.â
Shu knew enough of the city and the island to get by, but for anything beyond that he relied on Kagehira or one of his few friends here to take him there. He truly didnât spend much time anywhere besides his flat and his studio at the university.
âPerhaps you can find a map.â
Welp it certainly did seem that he hadnât exactly found the most sociable of people, far from. But this wasnât going to dishearten Shun in the least. When one was used to dealing with vicious criminals, one young man with his entire demeanour inapproachable was nothing in comparison.
         â Mmm, youâre right about that, indeed youâre right about that, but you know, Iâm asking you and not a map! Thereâs no way a map could tell me all the little bits and details that stem from human observation right? If theyâd invented maps like that, why would we even need to talk to others when going travelling? Wouldnât that just be way too sad? â
Spouting his selfish ideologies, it would not be entirely wrong to suggest that Shun was attempting to force the other into giving him a tour of the place. Of course should the other continue to decline him there was nothing to do about it, he would just have to find someone else to pester, but as long as there was will there was a way, that was what he had always believed.
         â Beside the reason Iâm asking you and not someone else is because I want your opinion and not someone elseâs. I can ask anyone else, any number of days, but I will never stumble across you again, not in this fresh and unknowing state. You intrigued me and therefor Iâm asking for your assistance. You look like someone who would be interesting to hear the viewpoints of, so thatâs why I want them. Does there have to be another reason? â
mismatcheddoll:
He had been struggling with the designs that were requested for one of his classes, pencil scratching the white of the pages over and over again. Partly because of it, and partly because he never really expected other to talk to him, it took him a few seconds to realize the words were directed at him. The intense stare of the man, who had gotten awkwardly close at some point, was however, enough to correct his misunderstanding.Â
âEh⊠âxcuse me?â mismatching eyes moved up for just a second before falling back down to the floor, the stare far too intense for him to stand, and his whole body withdrew as if to make some extra space. What was this man even talking about?
He forced his eyes up a second time, finding the manga book presented to him. Taking a better look at the man, he looked like a cosplayer. He didnât seemed so far in age from him, maybe if he wasnât staring so damn much, Mika would feel less intimidated.
âThat sure sounds like a sucky situation. But, maybe the author had some problems of his own and had to drop it?â he didnât knew the manga, not the author, so he couldnât really say anything else.
His hand however, delved into his pocket to get a piece of red-wrapped candy âHere, have a candy Cosplayer-san. Sweet stuff is good for when ya feel angryâ
Intense gaze was kept locked at the younger male for just a bit longer before he drew back and plastered the usually goofy smile upon his lips. Which was the real charade? The earlier displeasure? The smile? Or perhaps even both? With Shun it was often impossible to tell.
         â Well I did hear that the artist went down with stress midway so Iâm not really angry. You gotta take care of yourself you know? Anyone has to, manga artists, animators, policemen, heck even criminals should have their days off too you know! Although they shouldnât take too much of a break or I will be out of work. But what kind of ally of justice am I wishing for a crime to happen? Maybe I should change professions. What do you think? What kind of job would suit me? â
Speaking about matters that the other had no ways of knowing anything about considering that they had only just met, Shun fired off such questions pertaining to his own character which people had already determined impossible to read before. Accepting the candy and yanking out in his clothes at the comment, he corrected the male.
         â Rather than âcosplayer-sanâ, my name is Shun Moritsuka, and rather than cosplay, this is my work clothes. Iâm a policeman you know? Or at least Iâm supposed to be, but if the crime rate drops I canât tell whatâs going to become of me anymore. â
yumelodies:
â Excuse me! Good morning! â
Whatever reason a high school kid had for confronting a policeman with such an oblivious smile couldnât have been anything serious. Perhaps bordering on time consuming, or perhaps wasting would be a better term. But he approaches anyway, notebook and pen in hand, with a glint in his eye of a man on a mission.
âSorry to bother you! My nameâs E-ki. Iâm gathering ideas and urban legends for a script Iâm writing with my friends. Since youâre a policemen and all⊠I was wondering if thereâs ever been anything strange here in Bellevue youâve had to deal with?! â
He pauses in his excitable monologue, letting a thoughtful expression crack through his usual carefree one. â If not, any urban legend is fineâyour favorite one? Most interesting! The scariest!â His smile returns, and heâs practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. âOrâŠÂ âPiss off, kidâ is also a valid response, but you seem like a nice guy, so Iâd prefer âMove along, E-kiâ if thatâs the case! â
         " An urban legend, hmm? â
Although sudden, the question was not an unwelcome one. One could easily imagine most policemen to take the kid up on his offer and tell him to begone instead of wasting their time, but it wouldnât take long for anyone to figure out that Shun wasnât exactly âmost policemenâ. A question like this excited him enough already, even though he wasnât particularly one to believe in baseless stories. Of course if there were actual facts behind though, he would not for a moment doubt the existence of the occult.
         â Canât say Iâve been here long enough for anything to have happened, but I mean, in a place like this, do you really think anything would happen? These guys donât even have a police station so what does that make me? An unemployed man?! Wow, I never even considered my position like that, I should start look for a job before I become homeless shouldnât I? Man, what a sudden predicament! â
Rapid words perfectly matching those already shot at him went back at the kid who had introduced himself as E-ki. Perhaps he should start by returning that favour.
         â Well anyway, Iâm not going to just tell you to mind your own business, E-ki-kun. Nameâs Moritsuka. Shun Moritsuka. And just between you and me, no passing it on okay, Iâve heard this story about a conspiracy with ties so high up that you could probably be killed if you were to tell anyone else. Are you sure you still want to know even if I tell you that? â
Iâve been asked to make more! so here have this.
If you repost anywhere Iâd like a credit of some sorts
Send me đźfor our muses to play a horror game together.
I have to apologise for my slowness in getting to replies. Iâm a university student which means that I have a lot of obligations and RPing has to be pushed in the background sometimes. Hopefully Iâll get around to my replies later today, sorry about the wait! Also some muse contemplation under the cut, itâd be nice if you enstars people can help me out here.

         â Youâre lost, arenât you? â
Perhaps the query was way too the point, but he saw little reason to not voice his deduction when the girl he had watched for a good five minutes was simply pacing back and forth, glancing at street signs. Honestly it was a situation anyone could have been in provided they were a newcomer, which led to his next deduction that she had to be one such.
         â Well thatâs understandable. This place is bigger than it looks on the maps so Iâm sure anyone wouldâve lost their way if they donât know right from left in the city. Man, what a pickle, and here I had hoped you could help me find a supermarket! But of course you wouldnât know where to find one. Hmm this is a predicament indeed, what to do, what to do... Ah, I know! Why donât we look for a supermarket together and buy a map there? â
@ichinyatsv
Being a policeman helped developing the most peculiar habits -- one such being to observe every passerby more thoroughly than just a passing glance. hence it was easy to spot anyone with the slightest suspicious behaviour, and frankly, traversing through the alleyways dimmed by evening had to belong on the list of suspicious behaviour. But that was not entirely why Shun followed the young man and neither was it the reason he pulled out his police badge as he addressed him.
         â Good evening. Iâm Agent Moritsuka, formerly with the Kichijouji police force. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions? â
@freelytommorow
         â Whoa, what a weather. â
Rain pouring down as far as oneâs eyes went, a grey carped hanging over the city darkening the streets and making everything look miserable. Although the wind was quiet, the temperature was bordering winter, making going outside a very chilly experience. Most people had been smart enough to stay indoors instead of bracing the world as it was today, but a few exceptions always existed like Shun himself, but also a young girl who appeared to have sought cover underneath a building; and from what he could see she lacked one very deciding factor: an umbrella.
         â Hmm, youâre in a bit of a pinch arenât you? Going anywhere special? It doesnât seem like this rain is going to let up anytime soon, so you might want to reconsider and just go home you know. Isnât it kind of disappointing though? I mean, when itâs finally winter you gotta expect snow right? Not this kind of soaking weather. If itâs snow then itâs at least easier to deal with; rain just gets everywhere instead. â
@mismatcheddoll
         â Can you believe it? â
Hitting up strangers was only far too easy to the young man, partly because it was included in his job description, and partly due to his extroverted nature. However, his face was for once not an amused one. A second of suspense Shun let pass before he raised the manga volume he had been reading, a title from an author he had known beforehand to be infamous of discontinuing their work, and yet he still fell into the trap.
         â Who in their right mind would even just drop a serialisation before the end has been reached? Isnât that like making a detective show and then just as the detective is about to announce the killer it skips to commercials and you never get the continuation? Man this sucks! This beyond sucks! It should be a crime to leave your readers in the dark like that, donât you think so too? â
@broken-puppeteer
The request of him coming to this city had felt peculiar to the young detective, but as a pawn, a foot soldier he had no choice to obey. Surely there had to be some reason for his summoning here despite the secrecy regarding his move. At any rate, what sort of detective was he if he did not go out and about? He couldnât just sit at home waiting for a case to come by, because if he did, the case he would have to solve would surely be the one of his own death. How funny would that not be: a ghost detective?
         â Good day. And to you as well, maâam. â
A casual nod was made towards the duo, which honestly was simply a guy who looked to be in his teens or early twenties (It was hard to judge youngsters nowadays, he himself was living proof of this) and his... doll. Of course Shun was not one to judge, heâd seen plenty of weird circumstances in the manga and doujinshis he was so fond of, but admittedly walking around with a puppet in broad daylight stopped being cute once you passed 10.
         â You see, Iâm kind of new around these parts so I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers on where to go, where to avoid, what to see, you know, as a newcomer here and stuff since you seem to know what youâre doing! So how about it? Care to share the secrets of Bellevue? â
So, letâs get the ball rolling.
Like this post for a starter from Shun.
Howdy, I am Shino and my hobbies include picking up obscure characters no one has heard about as well as writing angst.
I believe Iâve been in RT before but it was so brief that I canât remember who I mused nor do I think anyone would recognise me, but I was formerly going by the name Matantei to those with good memories. I was actually on my way to bed because itâs almost 4 AM and I have work tomorrow (so add âmaking bad life decisionsâ to the list of hobbies) so Iâll actually get around to following people and making a starter call and stuff tomorrow.
Nice to be here, take good care of me aye?
soulbovnd:
She never really had a problem leaving her body just lying around. But now that she thought about itâŠwhat went on when she went on one of her escapades? She could stay and watch but it was apparent the crowd flocked around her motionless body, worrying.Â
Speaking of worries, he was taking this situation in a calm stride wasnât he? Hiyori supposed it had to do with being a policeman and allâ they did have to keep their cool with all the crazy stuff going on. He didnât even seemed phase at the hardship he went through. He reminded her of Kazuma-san in that aspect.Â
âIâm not going to commit crimes or anything indecent!â Hiyori huffed, a slight blush to the cheeks. She turned her attention to the still body on the floor.
âRight now, it only looks like your sleeping to them. A deep sleep.â She enunciated as someone in the crowd poked at the body, receiving no reaction. âYou can try and slip your soul back in butâŠsometimes it doesnât work. B-but maybe youâll have better luck than me? EhehâŠâ
         â Hmm... â
Crouching down next to the body of the girl, he let a hand reach forward only for it to slip through the body. He didnât know what to expect, perhaps to be sucked back in, but there was no such luck. Seemed like he was stuck like this for now, and it also appeared that he couldnât even interact with matters of the living world any longer which meant there was only one thing left to do. Gaze turning towards the girl who was stuck in his body, his face lit up into a smile that was perhaps enjoying the situation just a bit too much.
         â Well then, Hiyori-chan! Iâm counting on you! Itâd be kind of troublesome if someone took your body somewhere while I try to figure out how to get back into it and since I canât even touch it, itâs all up to you now. Iâd rather not have talked about it because I doubt youâd understand what I was saying, but that body there is infused with something called Scandium which is what makes you feasible as a living being in the first place despite being dead and all. Rather than an ordinary ghost like this whole out of body experience is, you exist as an actual physical being, but on a different visible plane than everyone else. Letâs see, hmm, ah now I know! Letâs say that youâre only halfway here! Which is why I need you to move around your body right now. You can play puppeteer, canât you? Make them believe nothingâs wrong. â
Thatâs it, thatâs the show
