logically speaking the magesâ guild should have banned enchanting along with necromancy. trafficking in souls for profit is just another form of desecrating the dead, but for monetary rather than ritual reasons
unfortunately travenâs lackeys are now closing in on my house, itâs been nice knowing y
Okay but Iâm pretty sure there is a large moral difference between using giant spider souls and using people souls. And using people souls IS classified as partially necromancy, possession of black soul gems is incriminating evidence.
but ALL necromancy was banned shouldnât you be able to resurrect a spriggan or some shit?
âno necromancy except on animalsâ was the exact loophole the dunmer employed and it worked fine right up until we all found out that they thought humans and beastraces count as animals
this is very confusing i thought the dunmer only approved of necromancy for tomb guardians
The Dark Elves would never think of practicing sorcerous necromancy upon any Dark Elf or upon the remains of any Elf. However, Dark Elves consider the human and orcish races to be little more than animals. There is no injunction against necromancy upon such remains, or on the remains of any animal, bird, or insect.
â Ancestors and the Dunmer
plus if you ask the priests in morrowind about nords they are emphatically dubious that nords even have souls so. yeah. dunmer! ¯\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
