Long time no see!!
Hello to the 2.5 people that actually look at this lol
I went on a much needed vacation cruise to Cozumel and Costa Maya with my mom. It was AMAZING and I got to spend a lot of quality time with my mom (smoking, drinking, and gambling lol). We lost so much money but it was SO FUCKING FUN!!! Beavis is bad and tried to steal my drink. I took way too many pics of plushie Beavis and Butthead on a vacation together lolololololol.
Then a few days ago, my body decided it would be HILARIOUS to have an MS flare up that triggered Trigeminal Neuralgia. WEEEEE!!! Today is day 3 of it and I'm ready to rip my jaw off my face. I have a high pain tolerance, but by the 3rd day I seriously feel like I'm going to go insane from the constant stabbing shooting throbbing pain in the right side of my jaw and face (mostly jaw).
I haven't been able to get my MS medicine (Kesimpta) since February because of a billing problem that THEY messed up, but I think tomorrow (if this finally stops) I will call CVS Specialty Pharmacy and see what I can do to get them to start sending my shot again because THIS SUCKS!!! For real y'all, I cried today after work because it hurts so much and just won't go away (yeah I still go to work because you know, bills). I am trying to sleep all day today and maybe this will be a little better tomorrow.
For anyone curious about Trigeminal Neuralgia and what it is, I'll lazily copy and paste here from reputable websites I promise.
"Secondary trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic facial pain condition caused by an identifiable underlying disease (multiple sclerosis) that damages the trigeminal nerve.
Symptoms: Often described as the most excruciating pain known to medicine. It is sharp, electrical, and usually limited to one side of the face. Sharp, sudden, electric shock-like or stabbing pain.Constant burning, tingling, or dull aching between sharp episodes (often referred to as Type 2 or atypical TN). It can be triggered by mild, everyday activities like talking, chewing, brushing teeth, or a light breeze.
Often dubbed the “suicide disease,” it is considered one of the most painful conditions known to medicine, causing sudden, excruciating, electric shock-like facial pain.
I say all this medical stuff because I wanna bitch about it cuz it fucking hurts and I feel like I'm losing my mind!!!!
Also, it took almost 20 years, way too many doctors, and finally so much money to get my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosed last year. Every doctor was so confused about my symptoms when they first started almost 20 years ago (side bar, it was the most common first MS symptom, Optic Neuritis, and doctors still couldn't figure it out back then). I had to go do my own medical research in libraries and reading articles and shit online. I found an amazing Neurologist in 2024 who specializes in MS, got lots of MRIs on my brain and spinal cord, and FINALLY got diagnosed and my insurance approved my meds (now $10,095 without insurance). I dunno how search engines work, but maybe someone who needs to learn this crap will see it. I don't think anyone with MS looks at this stupid blog lol.
Not trying to get money or free shit, just venting before I force myself to sleep again until this pain stops. Fingers Crossed!!!
Anyways, hello B&Bh fandom I missed you. I have so many ideas for drawings when I can finally function again.
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!
Bye.
