I theorised a few weeks ago that Abuela was going to pass away in this episode but I have decided that nope and my new spin is...

Abuela is recognising that she is getting on (maybe cognitive, maybe physical whatever) and needs more assistance in her day to day living.

Therefore the decision needs to be made that she either needs to go into an assisted living home or Pepa needs to move to Texas to help her.

Let's manifest this over another death and Eddie and Chris loosing another supportive member of their family.

Me when Buck tried to be supportive of Eddie moving to Texas to be with Chris but he’s just so Buck that he kept messing it up so Eddie kicked him out and said some things he shouldn’t have and Buck got mad and so he lashed out bc Eddie and then they kept fighting and then Maddie was missing and they started fighting again and it was the first time we’ve seen Eddie driving Buck instead of Buck driving Eddie because Buck was freaking out and then Eddie told Buck “it’s not nothing” so Buck decided to sublet Eddie’s house and then it was just the two of them packing all of Eddie and Christopher’s belongings and then they reconciled and Eddie told Buck he matters to him and Buck made Eddie cookies for the road and they hugged and Buck watched Eddie drive off as rain started coming down on him
