I actually ended up buying the dvd because I was tired of searching it and finding nothing decent.…. (+ I got some amazing bonus content with it like behind the scenes, the movie with Paul’s commentary, clips of certain musics, and other cool things)

I am drawing on my tablet and use two different art programs, one for sketching (like literally all the time) and one for my finished illustrations.

For sketching I use FlipaClip (free, but you can buy a premium version for more options) available for both IOS and Android (it’s actually an animation app but I use it to sketch lmao), it has this traditional art vibe that I absolutely adore! I mainly use the pencil and the highlighter brushes on this app.

For my illustrations I use Procreate (£9.99 or €10.99 I believe) available only for IOS. I have brushes from packs and the default ones that I both slightly modified to my liking. I use mainly the ‘sketch round’ from Jingsketch Basics (link) and the ‘dry brush & blendings’ from Nadiaxel Basics (link)

Your art is amazing where did you learn to draw the Beatles like that? I've been trying to draw them but they never come out right do you have any tips i could borrow and what do you use to draw them?

It took me a long time to answer that one because to tell you the truth… I’m still learning to draw them. These extremely cool lads are a nightmare to draw but I love them ahah.

I learned how to draw them by staring at pictures of them. Well, kind of…

I use reference pictures, that’s what I mean by staring at pictures…. It’s an absolute life saver, and I often find myself studying them. For example, I search what makes this person recognizable in the picture, what makes them who they are. And then I try to incorporate it in my style.

For Paul, you can recognize him by his fairly round shapes. The only straight thing about him could be his little nose. Other than that, he has a oval-ish head shape, droopy round eyes with long eye lashes, thin arched eyebrows (I love them way too much), small mouth but with plump lips, etc.

Secondly, I love to see how other artists represent them. It’s interesting to know what features they put emphasis on in order to make them recognizable, which you can also incorporate in your own style. (Obviously without copying the artist’s work, but simply understanding how they do it)

Here are some art blogs that helped me a lot with my Beatles drawings when I started learning how to draw them;

They are THE Beatles art masters (to me at least). There are indeed hundred of other great Beatles artists out there, but these two were the ones that really helped me to develop my own art style years ago.

Paul has a hard time getting over what happened 2 years ago. He can’t help but think about what could have happened. They mutually agreed to avoid ‘the talk’… but sometimes you need to let it out to heal.

If you want, my request of a drawing for the 100 follower is Ringo and George in an Octopuses Garden. Ringo could be an octopus human (under body Octopus upper body human) and he takes his boyfriend the pirate George down into his octopuses garden. George of course can‘t breath under water like Ringo, but maybe Ringo made a magical bubble around George head. So he can breath under water too. Would you do this? Have a good day.
