this afternoon is chaotic as hell. first one of the groundskeepers for our apartment building rings the doorbell and tells us there's a leak in the basement so we can't run any water. then it starts pouring rain the biggest, loudest thunder storm we've had all summer. everything is happening. it's all happening.

This mother put a camera on her nonverbal autistic son to school because they were constantly reporting he was misbehaving, even though he had never acted the way they described at home. When reviewing the footage, it was revealed one of the white, male teachers were strangling, hitting and yelling at her son and calling him the n-word. She went back to the school, called the police who showed up, talker to them and showed them the footage.

The teacher, Robert, was never arrested. All the police gave her was a post-it-note.

That's all. After going through finding out this was going on and carefully treading through the extremely difficult experience of having to remain superhumanly calm after an event like this in front of staff and police as a black woman, that's all she got.

Two days ago me and my husband had a cozy gay movie night and watched Project Hailmary. Yesterday we had a cozy gay movie night and watched Iron Lung. I find it very funny that we watched a man be sacrificed to space then a man being sacrificed to the blood ocean in the same week.

been developing white little spots in all sorts of places all over my body, mostly my forearms. i'm white as hell so i had to try to get a tan to know i wasn't imagining things. idk wtf else it could be but i feel fine at least.

Making a Frankensteined amalgamation of male pony body types just to be able to make me and my husbands personas into ponysonas in the show style while keeping their actual body types. Why do the tall male ponies have to be so angular.

Summer tip to cool down. Take one of these from the freezer. I imagine filling a plastic bag inside another plastic bag with water and freezing it could work too if you don't have one. Put it anywhere you like on your body. If you are not a pussy you will know that you can just wash it before freezing it again and use it to cool down food as it's intended for.

Even though it only covers a small spot of your body, your blood flow will do the rest and carry that cold around and you will feel cooler in no time. The cold where you put it can be kinda bity so just change spots now and then, or wrap it in a cold, wet hand towel.

And for fellow angels in this heat, when you lay in a fan, spread your wings as much as possible indoors so that the cool air can hit a bigger surface of them!
