To new, inexperienced drivers:

so idk if they teach you this in drivers’ ed class or whatever, but if you see someone in the opposite direction flashing their high beams at you, they’re NOT being a dick. they’re saying, “SLOW DOWN, I just saw a police car back there”.

If I hadn’t known that today, I wouldn’t have noticed the police car hiding in its fox hole and gotten a ticket for going 20 over the speed limit. and I’m glad I don’t have to pay $80 for a dumb mistake!!!

In deer country this is also used to warn others about a herd up ahead. In either case, the double flash means that some nonsense is occurring and ya gotta slow down!

Double-flash also means “turn on your headlights”. Basically, if someone’s flashing their brights, pay super-close attention and figure out what’s going on.

HEY EVERYONE! So I know I haven’t been posting a lot of new stuff! SORRY! (Hopefully I’ll get a lot done over spring break) But I’ve put a lot of my time into auditions for this! CROSSMEN! I’ve been selected as DRUM MAJOR! I’m absolutely humbled. There are however, tour fees!

Everything that I have made and shared on this blog has been time and effort that I’m doing for free. I’ve never asked anything in return for any of my work, nor do I want to. But, I would greatly appreciate any contribution to my campaign (big or small)! EVERY DOLLAR MAKES A DIFFERENCE! If I could get just $3 from HALF the people that follow this blog or share my posts, I would be well on my way to being able to pay my tour fees! I’ve dreamed of this opportunity for years, and now its finally a reality and I cannot express how grateful I am to every single person who helps me out!

Sorry I haven't posted anything new in a while! I've been super busy with college and auditioning for Crossmen! I'm honored to be able to say I'm 1 of 2 who have gotten a call-back to audition for Drum Major! Keep an eye out for some new stuff coming your way soon, though!

It would take approximately $16,000,000 to pay the tour fees for every corps member of every World and Open class drum corps.

If I win the powerball, this is at the top of my to do list.

Additionally, I would highly consider giving each world class corps exactly $1,000,000 (well over their budgets now) on the condition that they cannot spend more than this. This would financially level the playing field for all of the corps. I think it would be interesting to see.
