Generally against the industrial complex of Gotham and people in general, but has been known to take in kids before, or at least spare them (which is canon she protected 8 orphans when the city was destroyed)
Giving each of my blogās a song to go with the character so Ivyās is:
Explanation:
So this is yet another DC rp blog Iāve made (my other two are @not-a-robin and @notquiterobin)
This one is based off of Iām sure you can guess Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy
Itās all pretty straightforward, you can interact through asks, reblogs, comments, or however else you can think just be mindful of the boundaries list please
I am okay with romantic things (rp only) on this account but please keep in mind I am a minor, so yes romantic things are okay but nothing sexually explicit (plus Ivy is mostly plant so like asexual reproduction if anything anyway), I also feel like I should mention that I hc Ivy to be a lesbian so my Ivy is going to be a lesbian
Boundaries:
- I am a minor, please keep that in mind, like I said Iām okay with romantic interactions on this blog just nothing explicitly sexual
- no batcest, in an context, I donāt care how you rationalize it I donāt want to see it
- no shipping adults and minors!
- no pro ships in general, my Ivy is 36 so anything under like 32 is going to be weird!
- no homophobia
- no transphobia
- no ableism
- no racism
- no Zionism
If you agree with any of those things, just leave now before I block you. Also this blog is heavily based on head cannonās because Ivy is usually reduced to a side character, if you disagree thatās ok! Just be respectful
list of my other blogs: @not-a-robin, @notquiterobin, @cassandra-e-sandsmark, @zatannazatara-sorceresssupreme , @bludhavens-finest
Ivy lore doc:
Identity: Name: Doctor Pamela Lilian Isley Nicknames: Pam or Ivy are the only ones people have used so far, I think she would only be okay
Ooc: hi chat so remember who said they have the motivation to post now? Yeah so about that
Short explanation is my ptsd has just been really fucking bad lately, I honestly donāt even really know why, so I may not respond as quickly to things and I might post more sporadically, if youāre waiting on me for something I genuinely am sorry
Right now Iām trying to figure out how I can do things like make drafts or qued posts so that things do still come out but yeah, it has nothing to do with anyone and I am sorry if I do not get to something you send me very quickly
All of my other blogs have been color coded so I don't see any reason why I shouldn't besides the fact that up until now I haven't, if I do color code this it would obviously be green
Have you ever/would you ever study the affects of your fear toxin on the environment?
While I can't say I've ever formally studied it, or ever will it has certainly been a point of...contention between Dr. Isley and I. I don't care very much to study how it affects the environment, I care to know how it affects people.
Although I can't say I'm unaware of the complaints that I've made the Gotham harbor significantly more toxic, and to that all I can say is that I can't bear all of the blame. After all by the time I had moved to this city it was already unsafe.
Hi everybody, sorry that I haven't been very active here I havent really known what to post, feel free to send asks if you want to and i will get to them
This post was mostly to say that I have a new blog, so if you guys like rouges you should come over to my scarecrow blog/nf I might do some interactions between that one @dr-jonathancrane and this one
My catākityāyeahh even if she has her own litter box, she still uses... the dirt on my plants...
And my Daisys are already half deadā
- š¼š§šŖ
The best advice I can give for that is positive reenforcement if she does listen, and to move your plants somewhere that she can't reach them
Daisy's do well in full sun so if you're living in an apartment putting them somewhere like a window box (if possible,) would help to give them full sun along with keeping them away from the cat. Other places like a room with a closed door and a window could also work.
I would also recommend keeping them away from your cat in general since every part of the plant is toxic to them.
Since Iāve answered most of the ones Iāve been given, if you have any questions about your plants or plants in general you can send them to me and Iāll answer them
If there are any personal questions depending what they are Iāll also answer those
help my plant grew too big and i can't afford to buy a new pot. do you want her? her name is chloe
sincerely,
anon.
If you canāt take care of the plant any longer then I would be more then willing to take it from you, but if you canāt keep taking care of it and just need a bigger pot then I could easily give you one
If you were to date any of your friends, who would you date?
I already did that with Harley, and there arenāt many other people to choose from but if for some reason I had to date someone else, it would be Selina
Hi. This is a little awkward but how does a plant humanoid are supposed to take care of themselves?
@just-a-rudbeckia
That would heavily depend on what sort of plant they were, it would also depend how human they are. Personally I can live off of sunlight and water, as opposed to when I was human and also had to eat.
I would imagine that itās different for everyone, it may also depend how old they are, if they were still a child and growing it would likely be different then it was for me since I was already an adult. What turned them into a plant humanoid would probably affect it as well.
If you can give me a bit more context and have more questions I would be happy to try and help you
Continuing with the surplus of cats we have here, this is Ivy! Named after Poison Ivy.
@dr-pamela-isley @posionl0ve
Ivy is an adorable calico dropped off to us recently, likely coming from a home previously. We believe she is about two years old. She's reportedly been doing wonderful at her current foster home, with a love for this one specific teddy bear- who will be going with her too.
She is up for adoption at the moment and ready to go to her new home! Please contact us if you are interested in adopting.
Stray cats pose a large environmental risk and have been proven to destroy ecosystems, so itās lovely to see cats being taken in and properly cared for (if you do adopt a cat do not get an indoor/outdoor cat.)
While I personally donāt have the time to adopt a cat, I truly do hope that she goes to a wonderful home, and if your shelter ever needs anything wether it be donations or volunteers, please donāt hesitate to let me know.
Iām busy tomorrow so Iām handin out my presents now !!
Here ya go !!
Merry Holidays or whatever !!
PRESENTS !!
:D !!
*Rummages through his bag and carefully produces a clearly handmade ceramic planter pot. Despite it's amateur appearance, it's clear that great care was put into researching the correct processes for ensuring good growth.*
Thank you sweetheart, and you donāt need to call me Ms or Morganās mom if youād like to Iām not going to stop you but you can just call me Ivy, or Pamela
Itās a wonderful gift, Iām not sure exactly what Iāll use this for but Iāve been thinking about growing Heuchera (coral bells) and that typically does very well when planted so I may use it for that
What was your first group therapy session at Arkham like? Who was in it with you?
I think I was around 25 the first time I was put in Arkham, at the time Johnathan Crane was still one of the head doctors and Harley was either finishing her doctorate or just starting at Arkham (if it was the latter, I never saw her.) There werenāt as many rogues then as there are now, but namely Harvey and Two-face, The Joker, Tetch, Oswald, Clayface, and Nygma were already established.
When you first get to Arkham (at least Iām assuming this is still how they do things, I havenāt been in years) after a general intake you get paired with a personal therapist for one on one sessions, and when youāre allowed to be with other Arkham patients you do group therapy once a day (usually in the mornings,) and itās usually fairly silent during them, there arenāt many people who are eager to share especially in that setting.
When I was there for the first time Harvey and Two-Face, The Joker, and Clayface, were also there. None of them talked very much and I had no interest in speaking to any of them, especially during any sort of therapy sessions. And outside of those group therapy sessions I talked to Harvey and Two-Face the most often.
Many of the workers at Arkham donāt care as long as you arenāt killing each other while youāre there. The goal of Arkham has never been to actually encourage parents to get any better, if it wasnāt doctors experimenting on the mentally ill then it was Gotham using Arkham as a means of making money. Overall itās proven to be no better than Blackgate, and has no interest in helping anyone.
