Obviously loving this book. I prefer physically reading but I do listen to the audiobook on my commute to and from work and was blessed to have Chapter 57 be an audiobook chapter.

Best chapter in the entire series 🤣🤣.

Honestly the writing in TLG feels really one sided, it feels like Shane was made to be awful for seemingly no reason other than to make Ilya suffer, even though it makes no sense for his character.

I feel that. Like at Fabian’s show Shane’s like “I know he’s so horny for me” but then Ilya’s like “I just want to love him all the time.” In my head I’m like, “my Shane Hollander would never act like this.”

But I’m just so in love with Ilya as a character I know I’m extremely biased.

I’m only 9 chapters in but am I supposed to be really frustrated with Shane right now? Cause I am. I’ve been mad at him since he made that “has your mom” comment in chapter 1 haha.

Reluctantly because there are literally no chapters. Just 300 continuous pages.

But I like Kathy Bates and want to read more Stephen King.

But I have to say I’m kinda loving this simple “monologue to the police” 100 pages in.
