Want to share that today's appt with Gorda went so well!! I mean, she was spicy af and they could hear her cursing through the whole building but!!!! The vet congratulated her on gaining weight (which is a huge win for CKD), and her eco came back super good for her age. Still gonna have to wait on today's labs to see if she's gonna need blood pressure meds, but she seems to be in such better spirits than she was weeks ago 😭💞

Artichokes are so fucking good, how do you all eat them? I do leaf by leaf with lemon and salt and it's so basic but so good

One of my neighbors has started to get into analog arts, and I've spent some evenings with him playing with charcoals, chalk pastels, aquarelles, etc and it did something to my brain because I'm dying to go back to paint with oils, even played with some acrylic markers (I don't like acrylics) and it was SO fun. Gonna go sharpen some pencils and touch some quality paper just to feel real materials for a bit.
