“Abbuuu, uth jaiyein!! Subah hogayii! , your 4 years old toddler burst through the door to your and Rehman’s master bedroom. The heavy oak door slammed against the wall with a loud thud, and you and Rehman jolted awake, thinking a disaster had stricken, or maybe it was just your restless daughter once again.
It was indeed your daughter.
Rehman sighed, closed his eyes and lied back down, ready for whatever his daughter was about to throw at him. Inaya did not hesitate before climbing on top of Rehman and letting herself rest on his torso, a toothy grin gracing her features. She had your smile but she had Rehman’s stormy eyes, dark fluffy hair and his chin. She had been a daddy’s girl since before she was born.
You sighed and laid down next to Rehman, reaching your hand out for the alarm clock that sat on the small, wooden bedside table. One look at the time made you internally groan.
6:08 am
“Inaya, jaan, subah ke 6 baje kyu uthi ho? Aaj toh waise bhi itvaar hain.”, you said calmly, a soft smile on your face.
“Subah hogayi aur abbu ne kaha tha aaj hum kapde khareedne jayenge!”, she replied with cutting enthusiasm.
You shook your head and chuckled, still half asleep. Your daughter was nothing if not a fashion icon. She loved experimenting with your makeup and jewelry, running to you every time she saw you getting ready. She loved shopping with a burning passion and unlike other kids, she would only wear what she chose. You liked to tell people that she took after her father in that regard, which they almost always dismissed by saying that the Sher- E- Baloch could never be that fashionable.
Wrong. Rehman’s dressing sense was immaculate but they would only see that if they would actually take a look at him instead of staring at the ground whenever he’s near.
With half lidded eyes and a sleepy smile, Rehman brushed your daughter’s hair from her face.
“Arey meri Shehzadi, itni subah toh koi dukaan nahin khuli hogi. Kam se kam 11 baje khulengi dukaaney.”, he said with that groggy, morning voice that you loved so much.
“11 baje?! Abbu usmei toh bohot deri hain. Tab tak main kiske saath khelu? Naieem bhai so rahein hain aur unhe uthaya toh wo meri gudiya firse chupa denge.”, she pouted.
Rehman dropped his head, his eyes shutting of their own accord. He was in no condition to play with his daughter but he would rather dye his hair purple than tell her no and see her cry. He was about to give in when a devious idea struck him and he smirked.
“Inaya, tum Uzair chachu ke saath kyu nhi khelti? Waise bhi wo kal mujhse keh raha tha ki usko tumhari gudiya bohot acchi lagti hain. Apne chachu ko dikhaogi nahin?”
He had said no such thing.
Inaya simply got up from Rehman’s torso, got down from your bed and took a deep breath.
“UZAIR CHACHUUU!!!!”, and out she went running to her chachu’s room.
Rehman chuckled, earning him a slap on the chest from you.
“Rehman, aap bechare Uzair ko kyu fasaa rahein hain?”, you scolded him.
“Taaki main tumhe bhi fasaa pau, meri jaan.”, he wrapped his arms around you, snuggling his face in your neck.
You immediately melted into his touch, eyes closing, Uzair’s trouble long forgotten.. You were on the brink of falling asleep again when Rehman’s whisper sounded in your ear.
“Tumhari beti meri jeb mein chhedh kardegi aaj.”
“Aapne hi bigaad rakha hain apni Shehzadi ko. Aaj tak kabhi use ‘na’ bola hain aapne?”, you teased.
“Nahin.”, was all he said, and he said it proudly.
You chuckled, pressing a kiss to his head and closed your eyes again.
You felt Rehman’s breathing even out, calming you down even further and you drifted into a peaceful slumber.
That is until, you were woken up once again- this time by a sharp poking on your upper arm.
“Ammi.”
“Abbu.”
“Ammi.”
“Abbuuuu.”
You opened your eyes slightly to see your daughter sitting on Rehman’s back and poking you two incessantly while calling out for you.
“Kya hua, Inaya?”, you asked tiredly.
“Uzair chachu meri gudiya ke saath so gye.”, she looked down in disappointment.
“KYA?”, you asked with a whole lot of confusion.
“Haan, ammi. Maine unhe gudiya dikhaane ke liye di thi. Wo toh use pakadke hi so gye.”, she pouted, and you knew she was going to lecture Uzair later.
But you were far too occupied with the mental image of Uzair clutching a tiny, blonde, pinkish doll to his chest while sleeping. A giggle escaped your lips.
“Kya hua?”, Rehman groaned.
“Mere dewar jaan Inaya ki gudiya ko seene se lagaake so gye.”, you laughed, making Rehman giggle silently.
“Abbu, ismein hassne wali kya baat hain?”, Inaya’s frown deepened and though Rehman couldn’t see it, he could definitely hear it.
“Theek hain phir, abbu. Ab aap mere saath khelenge.”, she declared. Not even God himself could change her mind now and Rehman knew that.
So, for the next 40 minutes or so, he sat on the crimson rug running along the floor with Inaya on his knee, holding a brunette, sundress adorned doll that didn’t belong in his hands. He listened to his daughter talk about Sinaya and Minaya- the dolls, and their husbands- Rehan and Sehan, internally chucking at the names, even though he was a little suspicious about if the ‘Rehan’ was inspired by an actual person.
You noticed her rubbing her eyes and knew she was getting tired. Soon enough, she was asleep in Rehman’s lap, head balancing against his chest and hands curled around his arm against her stomach.
Rehman cautiously stood up and held her in his arms, walking slowly to her room while Inaya’s hands locked around his neck in her sleep, head rested against his shoulder. He placed her on her princess bed and placed a quick kiss on her forehead.
“Meri toofaan.”, he shook his head, keeping the door slightly ajar behind him as he left. He also checked up on Naieem, who was turning 8 soon and sleeping without a care in the world.
“Mera bacha.”, he whispered against his forehead, before returning to your room.
Of course, he could not pass up the opportunity to see his first child Uzair fast asleep while cuddling a barbie doll and so he opened the door to his room slightly and peeked in, chuckling at Uzair's open mouth and the doll resting against his chest. Hamza was going to hear about this later.
Without wasting another second, he joined you on the bed, holding you to his chest and peppering your head with kisses.
“Jaldi so jao jaan, warna bacche aa jayenge.”

Summary: What happens when Uzair's profession causes a minor inconvenience in your lives?(based on this request by the lovely @carmenred28)
Warnings: gore, violence, slight use of profanity.
This is a fictional work and does not endorse, glorify, or justify the actions depicted. It is written purely within the narrative context of the film’s characters and storyline.
It all happened in the blink of an eye.
One moment you were on a bench, sitting with your fiancé, enjoying a kesar pista kulfi and teasing him about how he had already gobbled 3 sticks and was currently biting down frivolously on his fourth.
"Meri pehli waali bhi khatam nahi hui hain aur aap 4-4 thoos gayein? Insaan hain ya shaitaan?", you giggled, getting another lick of your kulfi.
"Dekhiye waise toh main insaan hi hu par aap jaisi haseena ke saath thodi shaitaani karne mein kya harz hain?, he winked at you while taking another bite of his kulfi.
He did not like this flavour at all before you came along. He much rather preferred a simple rabdi or mango kulfi. However, on one of your first dates, you had dragged him to this kulfi stall and ordered for the both of you. He did not have the heart to tell you that he would rather eat a sookhi mirchi than eat a kesar pista kulfi. He ate the whole thing with a smile on his face, relishing in the look of satisfaction in your eyes when he had lied and told you that it was the best kulfi he had ever had.
It had been almost a year and you still visited that stall at least twice every week. And Uzair had grown to like the nuttiness of the pista ,the subtle earthy bitterness of the kesar, its honey- like sweetness but most importantly, he grew to like the way you would close your eyes at the first bite every time, the way you took your time with the kulfi and licked your fingers afterwards, as if trying to keep its taste for longer in your mouth- something he found himself doing with you.
And well, after that he didn't waste much time asking your maamu for your hand in marriage.
You blushed.
"Aap kaisi baatein kar rahein hain? Sharam bech khaayi kya aapne?", you asked with a slight furrow in your eyes.
"Ji sharam ka toh pata nahin par khud ko zaroor bech diya hain aapke ishq mein.", he feigned in a 'it is what it is' tone.
You chuckled.
"Itni sadi hui dhoop mein bhi drama barabar karte hain aap.", you said while bringing your hand to your forehead, trying to shield your eyes from the blinding sunlight.
Lyari in summer was no less than a boiler. Unsurprisingly, streets were usually deserted in the afternoon with most people only coming out of their houses after 5pm. They were not to blame. With so much dust and loo, even stepping out for a minute seemed like an impossible task. And so, for the 4th time this week(it was only Tuesday), you and Uzair were back at Altaaf bhai's kulfi stall.
"Arey? Ishq karna bhi gunaah hain ab?", he was slightly offended at the fact that you saw his love as nothing more than a dramatic flair.
You chuckled and shook your head at his antics.
Uzair sat up straighter.
"Theek hain phir. Agar ye ishq gunaah hain toh sazaa dijiye hume!", he said bravely, puffing out his chest.
This time you laughed wholeheartedly. You threw your head back, and just laughed.
Initially, Uzair narrowed his eyes at you but seeing you laugh like that- like you didn't carry the world on your shoulders, like you didn't carry his world on your shoulders- made him melt, and soon enough, he joined you.
His phone rang amidst your laughter and he picked it up.
"Haa hamza?", he asked, smiling.
"Uzair tu kaha hain iss waqt?", Hamza's voice sounded through the phone speaker, carrying a sense of urgency and panic.
Uzair immediately stood up in alert.
"Main Y/N ke saath Altaaf bhai ke yaha aaya hoon. Kya hua sab khairiyat toh hain?"
You too sat up straighter at this.
"Tu meri baat sun dhyaan se", Hamza started calmly.
"Arshad Pappu ke gundey-", he didn't get a chance to finish when a gunshot sounded through the air.
And then it started.
It was as if bullets were raining from the sky, left right and front. You felt a hand tightly grip your wrist and yank you to take cover behind the stall.
You peeked around to see 3 gunmen just blindly shooting in your and Uzair's direction.
One had an apple in his hand, while the other two were big and gruff with a devilish look on their faces. These men looked like they had descended straight from hell and were determined to take you both there with them.
For the first time, you finally registered what was happening and fear started clawing at your insides.
Uzair pulled you into his chest, his phone in his other hand and Hamza still on line.
"Uzair? UZAIR??", he yelled.
"Hamza foran ladke bhej!."
That was all he said before hanging up and untucking his glock from his waistband.
He shot at the gunmen from where he was sitting, taking cover whenever they would spot him.
You looked around. People were running for their lives in a blur of chaos, dust and heat. It was as if everything was moving in slow motion-much like your heartbeat. Your breaths deepened and the gunshots and screams sounded like a dream far away.
You turned around and sat with your back against the trolley of the stall. Your mind dissociated from your body.
You barely heard Uzair telling you to stay where you were and running behind the next stall to get a better aim.
Only when you heard one of the gunmen scream, you were broken out of your trance. You hastily turned around and peeked to see that Uzair had taken one of them out.
Relief coursed through your veins momentarily before you were reminded of the two other men, one of whom was currently aiming at Uzair while he was busy with the other one.
Your eyes widened and without a second of hesitation you stood up and mustering all your strength, threw the block of weight from the next stall at him.
While you were aiming for his head, it hit his collarbone and he recoiled in pain- falling down. His eyes fell on you.
"Saali, mujhe maaregi?", he gritted still groaning.
You didn't have time to register his words before he lifted his other arm and pressed the trigger thrice.
The faint screeching of tyres was all you heard before darkness consumed you.
Uzair only noticed this commotion when he heard those gunshots but before he could react, Hamza ran towards you, picked you up-Donga and Siyahi covering you while the other men covered Uzair- and moved to the car.
He laid you down on the backseat and caught Uzair's eye just before getting in himself.
Hamza nodded once to reassure Uzair and drove like there was no tomorrow.
He got you to the hospital as fast as humanly possible and rushed you in with the help of the nurses.
The nurses checked your pulse. It was there- but faint, very faint.
Just as the surgeon was about to enter the OT that you were in, Hamza cornered him against the wall roughly and leaned in.
"Agar inko kuch bhi hua toh ye aapka bhi aakhri din hoga."
The doctor nodded with frantic haste and practically ran into the OT.
Back in the streets of Lyari, though still panic stricken about you, all Uzair saw was red.
Donga had shot the man who was shooting at Uzair before stabbing him in the stomach a four times.
The man lay there, almost lifeless when Donga pushed his boot onto the handle of the knife in his stomach so it went all the way in.
Uzair however didn't pay any heed to the screams of the other man. His sole attention was on the man who shot you.
The one Siyahi was dragging by the hair towards Uzair.
"Ye lo bhai. Ye wala aapka.", he said proudly, curling his lips in disgust.
Uzair looked at him and smirked with a crazed look in his eyes.
At the hospital, the doctor came out of the OT after about two hours.
Hamza immediately stood up, expecting an answer.
"Teen goli lagi thi. Do kandhe pe aur ek bas baazu ke bagal se guzar gayi toh zyada nuqsaan nahin hua. Khuda ki rehmat se sahiba khatre se bahar hain. Abhi dawaa chadhayi hain toh behosh hain. Jab hosh aayein toh aap unse mil sakte hain."
Hamza breathed a sigh of relief.
He was about to thank the doctor when the hallway quieted down and sharp footsteps echoed through the walls of the hospital.
He turned around to see Rehman approaching them.
"Rehman bhai aapko kisne-", Hamza was cut off.
"Kaisi hain wo?", Rehman's quiet question was directed towards the doctor, who was internally sweating.
"Khatre se bahar hain. Par zakhm behad gehre hain. Waqt lagega sehat yaab hone mein. Behtar rahega ki ye theek hone tak yahin rahein."
Rehman looked at Hamza and he understood immediately.
"Nahin. Hosh aa jaaney ke baad wo Baloch Haveli rahengi jahaan unka poora khayal rakha jayega.", Hamza voiced Rehman's thoughts.
The doctor nodded, telling them he would visit bi- weekly to make sure you were recovering well.
Out of respect for Rehman, he also insisted that a nurse from the hospital stay with you at the Baloch Haveli until your internal wounds healed. Out of concern for you, Rehman agreed.
Just then, another pair of rushed footsteps echoed through the halls.
Rehman turned around to see Uzair. He kept looking around like a madman until he finally spotted Rehman and Hamza.
Speed walking turned into full blown running and in 2 seconds Uzair was standing in front of them, breathing heavily, eyes searching for answers. The moment of silence that followed was the longest of Uzair's life. His eyes carried a touch of hope and a whole lot of belief. Belief in you.
"Khatre se baahar hain.", Rehman held Uzair by his arms, calculating the expressions on Uzair's face.
Uzair looked up and closed his eyes, thanking his allah under his breath for keeping you safe. Hamza hugged him, slapping his back as a token of comfort and Uzair in turn held him tighter, silently thanking him for getting you there in time.
Uzair nodded with a cold look- cold enough to rival Rehman's own.
You gained consciousness the following day but you didn't get a chance to talk to Uzair or even see him properly before you were conveniently shifted to the Haveli.
For the first three days at the Haveli, you were high on painkillers and were asleep most of the day. All you would remember were glimpses of Ulfat Bhabhi bringing you soup, the blurry face of the nurse while she changed your dressings and the feeling of Uzair's hand holding your non- injured one.
The forth day however, you were more in your senses. You woke up around 1pm, feeling slightly better and much more conscious.
You tried to rub your eyes but a strong grip on your hand stopped you, as if you'd turn into dust if they let go.
With hooded eyes, you looked down to see Uzair sitting on a chair beside your bed. He looked horrible. His kurta was creased, jacket discarded somewhere.
His hair were all over the place and he looked like he'd barely gotten any sleep.
He hadn't.
He would sit by your side all day. He would go to rest only when Ulfat forcefully sent him out of the room, claiming she'd sit with you while he freshened up or when Rehman scolded him- however the latter was because of sheer fear and respect.
Your already weak heart weakened further looking at him so you tried to lighten the mood.
"Ye kya hooliya bana rakha hain apna? Maine toh suna tha shaitaan bade hi haseen hote hain. Aap toh shaitaano ka naam kharaab kar rahein hain.", you croaked with a smile, while sitting up a little- with Uzair's help of course.
He didn't say anything. He just got up and retrieved a glass of water from the bedside table and brought it to your mouth. You took a few sips before slightly pushing the glass away, indicating you were done.
Uzair, still silent, placed the glass back on the table.
You tried again.
"Itni khaatidari? Kahin main jannat mein toh nahin?"
Uzair was still wordless as ever. He just swallowed harshly, looked down and took your hand again, tracing slow circles on your forearm and wrist.
Your gaze softened further.
"Uzair", you whispered.
That did it for him.
All the emotions he had been trying to bury deep inside of him came flooding. His fear, his panic, his anger at himself for putting you at risk. Everything.
Tears ran like rivers down his face and he moved his chair closer to hug your waist tightly.
"Uzair main theek hu.", you spoke softly but it didn't make Uzair's sorrow any better.
A sob escaped his lips and your heart shattered into a million pieces, every shard piercing your insides more than a bullet ever could.
And what he said next in between his cries just twisted the knife in your stomach.
"5 saal ka tha jab ammi-abbu guzar gayein. Uss waqt nahin samajhta tha ye cheezein. Sab log kehte the ki ammi-abbu nahin aayenge ab par main roz darwaaze pe khadaa rehta tha iss umeed mein ki kabhi toh unko meri yaad aayegi.", he choked on another sob but you rubbed his back, urging him to continue.
"Par nahin aaye wo kabhi. Rehman bhai ne kabhi wo kami mehsoos nahin hone di par maine intezaar kiya tha unka. Jab tumhein goli lagi tab aisa lag raha tha ki mai wapis uss darwaaze pe khada hu, intezaar kar raha hu. Bohat dar gya tha main.", he finally admitted, his voice barely a whisper.
Listening to his cries was one of the hardest thing you'd had to do but you decided he needed this. He needed to let it all out. So you held him there, just running your hands through his hair.
"Uzair, yahan dekhein!", you ordered weakly in between sniffles.
He slowly lifted his head to look at you.
"Main theek hu, Uzair. Aur main jaanti hu ki jab tak aap mere saath hain tab tak mera koi kuch nahin bigaad sakta. Aapka bass chalein toh mujhe jahaanum se bhi kheench layein.", you joked again.
This time he chuckled lightly and a smile graced your face.
He went back to resting his head on your stomach and you lightly massaged his head.
Soon enough, he fell asleep.
You closed your eyes aswell and were on the brink of falling asleep when you heard someone knock and open the door.
It was Rehman.
He took one look at the situation in front of him and turned around immediately, aware that he was interrupting something.
"Main baad mein aata hu.", he muttered.
"Arey nahin Rehman bhai. Aayein, baithein.", you shifted slightly to make room for him on the bed.
He sighed deeply and almost reluctantly took a seat.
"Kaisi ho ab?", his voice was laced with slight concern.
"Behtar hu.", you smiled softly.
He acknowledged your response with a single nod and a comfortable silence stretched across the room, filled only by the sound of Uzair's soft snores.
Rehman nodded towards him.
"Thak gaya hoga. 3-4 din se theek se aaraam nahin kiya hain."
You hummed.
"Bachpan mein jab khel kar, thak-haar kar shaam ko ghar aata tha, tab aise hi mere bagal mein aake sofey pe so jata tha. Fir toh janaab subaah tak nhi jaagte the. Aur kyuki raat ko kuch khaaya nahin hota tha, jaagte hi 'bhook, bhook' chillana shuru.", he smiled lightly at the memory.
"Matlab bachpan se hi drameybaaz hain aapke bhai?", you teased.
Rehman chuckled.
"Ek baar mere paas cheekhta hua aaya. Bola kamrey mein bhoot hain. Main dekhne gaya toh pata chala ki jo parda hawaa ki wajah se hil raha tha usey bhoot samajh raha tha. Bohat samjhaya tab jaake yakeen hua ki hawaa hi hain. Par phir bhi ek haftey tak mere saath hi soya.", he said fondly, shaking his head.
You let out a breathy chuckle and noticed that Rehman was staring into the space, as if his mind was weaving the threads of nostalgia.
"Rehman bhai?", you said, and his eyes immediately moved to you, as if he wasn't just lost in his memories.
"Shukriya.", you whispered. You didn't mention what you were thankful for but he understood.
He understood that you were grateful for always taking care of you, for treating you like family, for being the brotherly figure you never had and for taking care of Uzair.
He got up and patted your head- the only proof that he had heard your gratitude and was acknowledging it in his own way.
He shook his head at his loudening snores.
"Lagta hain kal hi uthega ab.", he patted his back and exited the room, leaving you giggling.
You took a deep breath and leaned back. Despite your physical pain, you were content. Your mind, heart and soul were fulfilled. You had found yourself a second family that treated you like their own. In your lover's arms and at his family's home, you had found sukoon.
A/N: my first fanfic in a long time. if it's not upto the mark, please bear with me.
PS: thank you for the request i had a love of fun writing it!!<33

"Uzair, hum dono kal mela dekhne chalein? Mera behad dil kar raha hai wahan jaane ka. Aur waise bhi is saal ka pehla Eid mela hai, uski roshni aur mahaul kuch alag hi hoga!", you said excitedly with a huge smile on your face which dimmed slightly when you got no response from your mehboob. This was your first Eid with Uzair and you'd be lying if you said that you weren't over the moon to celebrate it with him. However, his lack of enthusiasm or any reaction for that matter tied an anchor to your floating boat of eagerness.
Uzair was sitting next to you on a sofa in his house, which he also happened to share with Rehman, Ulfat and their two kids- Naieem and Faizal. Neither Rehman nor Ulfat had any issues with you coming over. In fact, Ulfat loved having another female presence in the house while Rehman enjoyed having someone to distract Uzair so he could also spend some quality time with his wife. Currently, Rehman and Ulfat were out with the kids on an ice cream run- leaving the house to you two.
"Uzair, aap meri baat sun bhi rahe hai?", you turned to Uzair again who still seemed to be lost in his own world.
No response.
"Uzair-", you began.
"Arey kya Uzair-Uzair laga rakha h? Jab dekho tab 'Uzair yahan chalein?','Uzair wahan chalein?','Uzair aisa karein?,’Uzair waise karein?’, he stood up and you sat up straighter at his sudden outburst.
You opened your mouth to speak but he beat you to it.
"Tang aa gaya hoon main tum se. Jahan dekho wahan mere peechay peechay ghoomti rehti ho, tumhein koi aur kaam dhandha nahi hai kya? Yahan koi insaan sukoon se jee nahi sakta kya? Ek dafa phone na uthao toh do din tak manana padta hai. Aur agar main jawab nahi de raha, to baar baar kyun pareshan karti ho mujhe? Bas ab aur bardasht nahi hota mujhse. Har waqt meri zindagi mein itni dakhal andazi kyun karti ho? Main tumse bezaar ho gaya hoon is rawaiye se. Thodi tanhai chahta hoon. Khuda ke liye mujhe kuch dafa akela rehne do!", he ended his monologue by storming out of the room and slamming the door behind him, not giving you a chance to speak.
You sat frozen for a few minutes, still contemplating what had happened. Uzair had never talked to you in that tone before. You replayed his words in your head until a tear ran down your cheek and to save yourself from more humiliation, you got your belongings and went home.
Uzair had regretted his words the moment he left the room with you in it. Although, he just couldn't bring himself to turn around and hold you in his arms while apologizing. The truth is- this was the first time Rehman had gone out without him ever since that incident with SP Chaudhary Aslam. And though Uzair sent a hundred other guards with them, with Aslam still alive and well, Rehman was always under threat. The only reason Uzair hadn't accompanied them that day was because they had already left by the time he came home from some errand.
For the next few days, Uzair did not get a call, text or one of those unexpected visits from you that he loved so much. He waited by his phone like a lovesick puppy, often picking up calls on first rings just incase it was you calling him back. He had left you a dozen texts and even tried to get ahold of your friends and told them to tell you to talk to him. He felt more and more awful as the days went by. And it wasn't just Uzair who noticed your absence. Ulfat noticed it first, followed by Rehman, Naieem and Faizal. Ulfat wasn't naive. She obviously knew something had went down between the two of you and called you- mainly to check in on you but also to pry on the details of how her dewar-jaan had messed up. That night, Rehman had spent 3 hours listening to Ulfat rant about Uzair and his immaturity.
The next morning, Ulfat brought in chai for Rehman and Uzair, who were sitting in the living room. She gave her husband a smile before setting his cup in front of him. Next she turned to Uzair, whom she also smiled at sweetly before setting his cup down in front of him with a little more force than necessary.
Uzair was confused at his bhabhi's behaviour.
"Ye bhabhi ko itni subah- subah kya ho gya?", he asked Rehman while picking his cup from the table.
Rehman looked at his wife's retreating form amusedly before looking at Uzair and shrugging.
"Waise kaafi dino se Y/N nahi dikhi.", Rehman started, making Uzair choke on his chai.
Instead of answering Rehman, he called out to Ulfat.
"Bhabhi ye chai mein aapnein shakkar ki jagah namak kyun daala hai?"
No response.
"Bhai aapki chai bhi namkeen hai kya?", Uzair turned to Rehman.
Rehman shook his head at Uzair's confused form.
"Ulfat ko Y/N ne bataya kal raat ki tune usey kya kya kahaan tha. Shaayad usi ki naraazagi bayaan kar rahi hai.", Rehman said while barely holding his laugh.
Realisation dawned upon Uzair followed by a sheepish look.
"Aap hi batayein na bhai main kya karu. Uss din aapki kafi fikr ho rahi thi aur aapka ghussa Y/N pe nikaal diya."
Rehman rose an eyebrow at the "aapka ghussa" part but chose to ignore it. He knew his cousin meant well.
"Tum dono ke muaamle mein main kya bataoon?", he said seriously.
"Wo na mera phone utha rahin hai na hi milne aa rahin hai. Aapko toh bohot tazurba hoga na. Bhabhi toh roz aapse behad-", Uzair stopped when Rehman looked him dead in the eye.
"Nahi matlab- main toh yoohin bol raha tha."
Rehman sighed. His cousin was hopeless. To Rehman, you were perfectly tolerable and a good match for his cousin, unlike Uzair's previous relationships. He shuddered at the thought of one of his exes and decided he will help his cousin purely because he liked you and did not want to deal with another Shabana.
For the next 20 minutes or so, Rehman gave Uzair ideas and advice on how to make it up to you.
The next morning, you woke up to a serious looking Uzair sitting by your window. You were about to scream out of sheer surprise when he ran and hurriedly cover your mouth with his hand.
"Shh. Poore maholle ko jagaana hai kya?", he said lowly.
You pushed his hand aside while he sat on the edge of your bed.
"Uzair aap jaaiyein yaha se. Mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni!", you turned around to face away from him, hoping he'll go away.
"Baat toh karni padegi tumhein mujhse.", he said with finality but you ignored him.
Just as you thought he is going to leave, you felt hands around your waist and towards your stomach and then it started!
Uzair knew you were a highly ticklish person and he was using that to his advantage now.
"Uzair aap kya kar rahein hai? Jaane dijiye mujhe! Uzair!!", you said in between laughter.
He continued it for another minute or so until you were nothing but a puddle in his arms, laughing heartily with your eyes closed. Uzair just looked at you and soaked it in for a moment. Oh how he missed that laugh!
"Kya?", you asked when you noticed him staring at you.
He leaned down to rest his forehead on yours.
"Mujhe muaaf kardo maine tumhein itna kuch kahaan. Uss din Rehman bhai ki kaafi fikr ho rahin thi aur tum beech mei fass gyi. Sach toh ye hai ki mujhe tumhare saath waqt bitaana itna pasand hai ki jab mai kaam mei bhi mashroof hota hoon tab bhi yahin sochta hu ki tum kya kar rahin hogi. Mai har jagah tumhare peechey peechey jaana chahtaa hu kyuki jahan tum hogi wahin mujhe jannat naseeb hogi. Itne dino se tumne baat nhi kari toh mera jeena haraam ho rakha h.", he said looking into your eyes.
Your eyes softened. You ran your hand through his hair, making him close his eyes and sigh in relief.
"Aap hi ne toh kaha tha aapko akela rehne du.", you pouted.
While you may be upset about what went down, you understood his reason. Rehman was the family he never had. He cared about him a lot and you'd be lying if you said Rehman wasn't like a brother to you too.
"Tum meri matt suna karo, mai kuch bhi bol deta hu. Jis din tumhara ye haseen chehra na dikhe, ya jis din tumhari awaaz sunne ko na mile, wo din bhi bhala kaisa din? Tum dhadkan ho meri. Apne dil ko apne se kaise alag hone du?"
You smiled softly but hid it quickly.
"Agar aap mujhpe phirse naraazgi jataye toh?", you frowned.
Uzair thought for a moment before answering.
"Toh phirrr.."
"Tumhari jooti aur mera sar. Jo saza dogi mujhe khushi khushi qubool hai.", your eyebrows rose at his casual tone.
"Dekh lijiye. Apne waade se mooh matt fer lena.", you warned.
He just smiled in return while looking at your lips with such intensity, you could feel its heat all over your body. Just as he leaned in to kiss you, you swerved your head to the right, making his kiss land on your cheek instead. It was his turn to pout now.
"Agar agli dafa mujhpe naraaz hue toh aapko mujhse nikaah padhna padega. Fir aapko zindagi bhar saza dungi. Roz aapse hi kaam karwaungi, aapse hi khaana banwaungi aur aapse hi bartan bhi dhulwaungi. Qubool hai?"
Uzair just chuckled.
"Qubool hai, sahiba."
"Phir theek hai.", and with that you wrap your arms around his neck and peck him on the lips, making Uzair smile against your lips.
Finally, he thought before deepening the kiss and trying to be as close to you as possible to make up for that lost time.

"Kya aapko Y/N se ye nikaah qubool hai?", imaam saab asked Rehman Baloch urf Rehman Dakait- your very soon to be husband.
You looked at him through the floral translucent parda- only to find him already looking at you. Your veil was almost transparent due to its creamy nature, so it wasn't a particularly difficult task. This wasn't the first time you were meeting this man. Your abbu and him were close associates and you would often see him at your house or various social events.
You didn't know this man enough to deem him as nice. In fact, all the things you knew about him were as far from nice as possible.
Rehman Dakait was the king of Lyari. He had command over even the tiniest of leaves if it was in Lyari. Previously, he was only a gang leader and mostly inactive in politics. However, that changed the moment your nikaah was fixed, with your abbu promising him a significant position in his party. People feared him as much as they respected him, and you understood why as he looked at you with those eyes. God, those eyes, like molten lava- heavy with heat and could burn anyone with just a glance. Rehman Dakait may not be nice but he was no less than a Greek god.
You held his gaze, making a small smile grace his face and you swore your heart skipped a beat. He looked dashing in his maroon and gold sherwani, with a single strand of his hair falling over his forehead.
Yes, it was true that he was handsome. But it was also true that danger oozed out of every part of his body and you could feel it even through the genuine smile on his face.
"Qubool hai, qubool hai, qubool hai.", he finally said and goosebumps erupted all over your body.
You released a breath you didn't know you were holding.
The imam then turned to you.
"Y/N, kya aapko Rehman Baloch se nikaah qubool hai?"
You were still looking at Rehman when you answered, "Qubool hai, Qubool hai, Qubool hai."
A slow smile lit up your face, which he instantly returned.
That was it. You were now married to Rehman Baloch and the rush of adrenaline that coursed through your nerves was unequivocally thrilling.
Cheers errupted around you- your friends and relatives hugging you and congratulating you, but your eyes didn't leave Rehman's till he stepped out of the parda and went to lift your veil. Anyone else would have probably missed the slight twitch in his hands, but you noticed. As the veil lifted, you looked at him with a smile and he said low enough for only you to hear,
"Behad khoob lag rahin ho."
After a tiring evening full of pictures, people and gifts, you returned to your new home- the Baloch Haveli. This was the first time you had been to the haveli. Your abbu never really took you there- perhaps because of the dangers lurking around every corner. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful, beautiful house and while you thought it lacked some personal touches, it was still home-y enough.
You were waiting in your and Rehman's shared bedroom with your knees folded to your chest, nervous about your first night. You were undoubtedly attracted to Rehman. That was a fact. How could you not be?
However, you still had a few reservations about doing something with a man you didn't know that well. The rose petals decorated on the bed made your stomach flip and you couldn't yet decipher if it was from dread or excitement.
The door to the bedroom clicked open. Your eyes were glued to the bed but you could tell it was Rehman by the graciousness of his footsteps. The mattress dipped in front of you and your heartbeat quickened.
"Meri taraf dekho.", he commanded softly.
For the first time since he entered the room, you looked at him. With his messy hair and half unbuttoned sherwani, he looked breathtaking. He looked in your eyes as if searching for something.
"Jab tak tum nhi chaahogi, tab tak kuch nahi hoga."
You knew what he was referring to and your cheeks tinted a little red at the thought. You were as surprised at his admission as you were grateful. While you weren't against your suhaag raat with him, the fact that he chose to respect you by giving you the time that you needed made you melt internally.
You nodded and answered with a soft smile.
Seeing the content look on your face, Rehman framed your face with his hands and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. If you weren't sitting, your knees would have given up.
You didn't know what kind of husband Rehman would be yet, but you already trusted him with your life. You trusted the feeling of power that he gave you and you trusted him when he promised you his life during the nikaah.
Over the next few weeks, you and Rehman settled into a peaceful domestic routine. You would wake up, followed by Rehman, who got ready for the day while you prepared breakfast. You would both spend the morning talking before he would leave for work, him never failing to press a soft kiss to your forehead or cheek before stepping out the gate and that made your knees buckle every single time. At night, when he came home, you would eat dinner together while you tell him about your day and he would brief you about his. And when it was finally bed time, he would settle into bed next to you, making sure to respect your boundaries while still trying to be as close to you as possible.
Rehman loved this new routine of yours. He loved watching you cook as much as he loved your cooking. You had figured out exactly how he took his chai on the second day of your marriage which Rehman thought was quite impressive as initially it had took his cook months to perfect it. He loved the way you would yap to him about anything and everything and he loved the sound of your bangles in the morning. He was undeniably captivated by you and often wondered how he had failed to notice you before your marriage. Perhaps it was because you were just his associate's daughter then. Either way, he couldn't thank his fates enough for this unexpected union.
Sometimes, when you'd be serving food, your hair would fall onto your face and Rehman would gently brush them behind your ear, shiver running through your body and he noticed- he always did. He noticed your favorite jhumkas because you wore them 4 days a week and he noticed the way you would finish your kheer in less than 2 minutes, which made him chuckle internally.
He once asked your favorite flowers and you had told him you didn't know. You genuinely didn't know what your favorite flowers were. So, Rehman being Rehman, brought home different flowers every single day for 2 weeks. By the shine in your eyes and the size of your smile, he concluded that your favorite flowers were lilies.
He would randomly bring home small but thoughtful gifts like gajras and original copies of your favorite books, and when you would ask him if it was any special occasion, he would always reply with, 'Apni hi begum ko tohfa nazraanein ke liye mujhe kisi tyohaar ki zaroorat thodi na hai. Bas aaj subah kuch zyada hi khoobsurat lag rahi thi toh socha usi ke liye shukriyan aada kardu.'
One such night over dinner, you were telling him about a few changes you made around the house. It had been 3 weeks to your nikaah and so you took liberty to add flowers, pictures and other colorful furniture around the house.
"Tumhara hi ghar hai, jaan. Jaise marzi sajaao.", he replied calmly while you blushed at his use of jaan.
Rehman did not use terms of endearment very often because it was still a strange concept to him- but the look on your face whenever he called you jaan or chaand made him feel all sorts of giddy. He always noticed the way your cheeks turned an adorable shade of red first, followed by you averting your gaze and biting your lip unconsciously. And that is exactly where he was looking at right now- your lips, and you noticed.
A new kind of fire erupted in the pit of your stomach as you watched him reached his hand out to wipe the rasmalai staining your lips with his thumb, before bringing it back to his own mouth and pecking it off his thumb- all while still looking at your lips.
Your chest rose and fell as your breath quickened and the air turned thick with unspoken tension.
"Aaj rasmalai kaisi bani hai?", you whispered.
That seemed to have woken Rehman up from whatever trance he was in. He suddenly leaned back and cleared his throat.
"Acchi bani hai."
The rest of the dinner was spent in silence with the both of you stealing glances at each other throughout the evening.
The next evening, you were getting ready for your abbu's political event, with it also being your and Rehman's first official public appearance as a couple since your wedding.
You laid out Rehman's black kurta and waistcoat on your bed before picking out a deep green sharara with golden embroidery for yourself. The colour not only complimented your skin but also matched with the embroideries on Rehman's waistcoat.
You were hooking in your earrings when Rehman entered the room. The sight of you quite literally made him stop in his tracks. His gaze travelled from your head to your toes and to him, every inch of you looked like an apsara. With your golden jhumkas, Kashmiri choodiyan and perfectly done makeup, you looked like you were godsent, which is exactly what Rehman felt about you in general.
You looked at him in the mirror, not noticing the look of awe on his face.
"Rehman, aa gayein aap? Kitni der lagaatein hai! Chaliye jaldi se taiyaar ho jaye warna hume deri ho jayegi!", you pointed to the clothes laid out on the bed.
"Hm?", he was still busy admiring you- not hearing a word of what you just said.
"Taiyaar ho jayein Rehman!", you said with a touch of frustration.
That got his attention and he took his clothes to another room to get dressed.
At the sound of his footsteps, you turned around, necklace in hand, ready to order him to help you with it. Unfortunately, your words died down as soon as your gaze fell upon him. He was truly a sight for sore eyes- hair styled back, his kurta and waistcoat hugging him like they were made to be moulded to his body, and eyes a fiery shade of black. He looked like the sher -e- baloch who commandeered respect and authority anywhere he went. And he was your husband. Yours.
The realization formed a pool of heat in your stomach.
Rehman, being the keen observer he was, was well aware of your inspection of him and it brought an immense amount of satisfaction.
He then noticed the golden emerald necklace resting delicately between your fingers. Without a word, he took it gently and turned you around to face the mirror. He brushed your wavy hair away from your back before bringing the chain up to your neck. His finger brushed your pulse point and goosebumps grazed your arms before he finally clasped the dainty jewellery into place. But he didn't step backwards after that like you expected him to.
Instead, he held your waist and ran his nose along your neck, breathing in your scent.
"Mashallah", he whispered before pressing a kiss on your shoulder blade.
Your head instinctively leaned back to give him the space he needs. Rehman trailed his mouth down your neck and jaw, biting, kissing and sucking wherever he felt like it.
"Rehman", you whispered again, this time with need.
"Bolo jaan", he murmured against the spot just behind your ear, making you gasp.
He assumed you would say something like 'humein deri ho rahi hai' or 'humein chalna chahiye.'
What he didn't expect was for you to gasp out, "Rukna matt."
This earned a groan from Rehman. The fact that you wanted him as much as he did made him feel feral. Rehman Baloch didn't need to be asked twice- the event be damned.
With a swift movement, he turned you around and pressed you against him. The heat in his gaze matched yours.
He leaned in, close enough for you to feel his lips graze yours. He looked up from your lips to your eyes, as if looking for permission.
You smiled, pulled him in by his collar and smashed your lips against his- and that was all the permission he needed.
The kiss was rough, as if you had been waiting forever for this moment. Rehman ate you like a starved man, his hands wandering all over your body until they stopped at the edge of your kameez.
He tugged at it once, asking you to remove it to make sure you really wanted this.
You broke the kiss and shyly pulled your kameez over your head, eventually discarding it on the floor. Rehman took you in for a moment. He let his fingers wander softly over the curve of your breasts and down to your hips- as if you were something delicate. He inhaled sharply at how godly you looked.
You on the other hand were getting impatient. Seeing Rehman's reaction only fueled your desire. You stood on your toes to trail kisses along his jaw and chin, making him breathe a little heavier, before sucking his bottom lip in your mouth.
That broke Rehman's restraint. He turned you around again to face the mirror and unclasped your bra with a single click. You blushed as you watched your bra fall to the ground and hid your face in Rehman's neck out of shyness.
Rehman held your waist with one hand while trailing the other up your stomach. He held your left breast and whispered in your ear, "Aaine mei dekho."
You complied and slowly turned your head towards the mirror because he had more control over your body than your mind did.
He squeezed your breast roughly before flicking one nipple with his thumb, making you roll your head back and moan.
He pinched your nipple in between his index finger and thumb and kissed your neck.
"Aaina, jaan.", he reminded.
You looked in the mirror again, something primal flashing through your body at the sight in front of you. You pushed yourself flushed against him, and felt his hard cock against your back.
Rehman met your eyes with his hooded ones in the mirror. Even from this distance, you could see the need and fascination in his darkened orbs as he took his time admiring your breasts.
His hand moved upwards and formed a light embrace around your throat, tilting it to taste the desire in your mouth. His other hand, that was holding your waist, trailed down and tugged at the waistband of your sharara bottoms. Without breaking the kiss, you reached down to unhook and undo the zipper on your hip and your sharara gathered around your feet.
Rehman, still busy nibbling at your lips, picked you up and laid you on the bed. He stood on the edge of the bed and finally looked at you. His eyes moved across every inch of your body, as if wanting to memorize every curve and dip, every mole and every scar- though there weren't many- most of them being from childhood shenanigans.
He wanted to imprint you in his memory forever. And all he wanted you to remember was his name after today.
There was a stark contrast- you lying naked and him being fully clothed. You wanted to even the ground and so it was your turn to tug on his kurta.
"Ab aapki baari", you said breathlessly.
Rehman chuckled. Slowly unbuttoning his waistcoat and taking it off, he took his kurta off by the collar in a smooth movement, never breaking eye contact with you and you concluded this was the hottest thing you'd ever seen anyone do.
Rehman oozed of raw masculinity with light hair dusting his torso and a lean yet muscular frame. He looked absolutely mesmerizing. Your eyes fell upon his V line and-
Your thoughts were cut off when he travelled up your body and hovered over your clothed heat. He was so close that you could feel his breath on your dampened panties, making you squirm. He maintained eye contact as he feathered a soft kiss on your covered clit and your eyes closed shut- both because you were timid and because the feeling was too much. Your body was feverish with how hot you were feeling.
Rehman settled himself between your thighs and hooked his fingers in the waistband of your panties, casting a look at you to make sure you were comfortable. You simply nodded, bottom lip between your teeth, and lifted your hips slightly to help him.
Rehman's eyes settled on your bare self, and to him, you looked absolutely heavenly. He had never seen such a pretty sight before and he was spellbound. He never wished to step out of this moment of ecstasy.
He leaned down to pour all his passion into your mouth while his thumb found its place on your wet folds, teasing your entrance before running slow circles around your clit. Your fingers held onto his hair and back like your life depended on it. And perhaps, in this moment it did.
He swallowed all your moans and gasps and it was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted.
He pulled away from the kiss and brought his thumb to his mouth.
Scratch what he thought earlier. This was the most delicious thing he ever tasted.
Your eyes widened at his boldness but you didn't get time to register his actions before he pushed a finger inside you. Your back arched and your eyes rolled back to your head, and a breathy moan escaped your lips.
He gave you time to adjust before he added another finger and started moving them inside you. You were a mess of gasps, whispered pleads and moans.
He curled his fingers inside you and a particularly loud moan escaped your lips.
"Rehman!"
Embarrassed, you bit your lip to stop yourself from making loud sounds. Rehman noticed and his eyes turned a tad darker- if that was even possible.
He leaned down to kiss you again, naturally leading you to release your lip from your teeth and whispered against your mouth, "Sunna chaahta hu."
He pulled away and mapped your body with his eyes. You- lying naked on his bed, chanting his name with his fingers inside you- stripped away his self- control. He pulled away, making you whine but the protest died on your tongue when he took off his pathaani salwaar and boxers and positioned the head of his cock against your entrance.
He kissed your forehead.
"Thoda dukhega. Zyada taqleef hui toh bataana, meri jaan.", he said softly.
He shifted his attention to your mouth to distract you from the pain as he slowly pushed inside you. He groaned at how tight you were and it took all his strength to not just slam his cock into you and fuck you senseless.
You felt the burn as soon as he entered- before you realized he's not even halfway in. You took a few deep breaths and signalled him to go in further. Rehman was right. It did hurt. Tears prickled at the corner of your eyes. Rehman obviously noticed.
"Sab theek?", he kissed your nose with a concerned look on his face.
"Ji", you replied.
"Pakka? Kya mai theher jau?", he was still not convinced.
Your throat clogged with emotion. You were always told that men were demanding when it came to sex. That they took it whenever they wanted. But your Rehman was so considerate. He thought about you more than he thought about himself and your heart filled with an unknown feeling for this man.
"Mujhe aap chahiyein, Rehman.", you said with finality.
Rehman's eyes flashed with hunger and he gave you a minute to adjust before he slowly started moving. It hurt at first, but that hurt soon turned into pleasure as Rehman increased his pace. He positioned your leg around his waist to let him go deeper and you saw stars when he hit a particularly sensitive spot.
He peppered kisses wherever his mouth could reach and touched you as far as his hands could wander. You were both entranced in each other's presence. You felt like a drug to him- one he couldn't get enough of.
His pace turned relentless and your back arched. You could feel him pulsating inside you and he could feel your walls clenching around him. He reached down to stimulate your clit while holding himself up with his other hand.
That did it for you. Your orgasm exploded through you like fireworks, in a fit of moans and chants of his name. All you saw were white hot flashes as you closed your eyes.
Rehman followed suit, cumming with a heavy groan inside you and instantly collapsing on you after.
You chuckled and pecked his head.
"Tum theek ho? Maine kuch zyada toh nahi kiya?", he looked up, searching your eyes to make sure you were okay.
"Mai theek se bhi behtar hoon, Rehman.", your eyes softened.
He nodded and got up, once again pressing a lingering kiss to your forehead. He went into the bathroom to clean himself up and get dressed in a pajama, still shirtless. He then proceeded to clean you up aswell, his movements gentle and face focused, following by a trip to your closet to get one of your silk nightgowns and helped you dress yourself.
You watched as he roamed around the room, taking care of everything like picking up your discarded clothes and setting them on the chair, helping you take your jewellery off and trying to figure out which drawer was the jewellery drawer.
It was indescribably adorable and unnervingly wholesome. He was tidying everything up so you won't have to later.
The king of Lyari, who didn't even have to lift a finger to get work done, was picking clothes up off the ground so you didn't have to.
Finally, he moved to your bedside table and filled up a glass of water, offering it to you.
"Paani peeyo.", he ordered softly.
You complied and handed the glass back to him.
"Uzair ko bola h khaana bhijwaane ke liye. Itni mehnat kari hai bhook lag gayi hogi", he said with a teasing smile on his face.
You blushed and averted your gaze away.
He made himself comfortable on the bed next to you and lied down. You lied down with him, resting your head on his chest. He brought his arm around you and held you with one hand, the other acting as a pillow under his head. You lay there peacefully for a while, just soaking each other in- you tracing small circles on his chest and him absentmindedly brushing kisses on your head.
You were basking in the moment when you realised, "Ya allah! Main abbu ko kya bolungi?"
Absolute horror masked your face. You had all but forgotten about your abbu's event.
Your horror, however, was very amusing to Rehman. His chest vibrated with laughter and he threw his head back in a series of giggles. You looked up at his face and smiled despite your personal dilemma. He didn't laugh a lot, but when he did, god oh god, was he beautiful. The sound of his laughter and the way his eyes crinkled was ineffably enchanting.
"Aap haste hue kaafi haseen lagte hai. Thoda aur hassa karein", you told him truthfully.
He raised his eyebrow at your admission.
"Tum bhi aaine mein kaafi khoobsurat lagti ho", he wiggled his eyebrows, referencing to your earlier sexcapades.
This earned him a slap on his chest and you burying your face in his neck.
"Aap bhi na, Rehman! Kaisi behaki behaki baatein karte hai!"
He moved his neck away to look at you again.
"Kya hua? Kuch dafa pehle tak toh tum itna nahi sharmaa rahi thi!", he continued with his teasing.
You groaned in embarrassment and propped yourself up on your elbow.
"Aap mere ishq ka fayeda utha rahe hai? Kuch bhi bolenge?", you frowned, unaware of what you just said.
"Ishq?", Rehman looked surprised. Your eyes widened in realisation.
A smug smirk made its way onto Rehman's lips and you wanted to kiss it right off of his mouth.
"Agar tumhare ishq ke liye ye sab karna tha toh pehle hi bayaan kar deti. Iss maasoom ko itna intezaar kyu karwaya?", he chuckled.
"Accha, toh aap intezaar kar rahein the mere kareeb aane ka? Kahin aapko bhi toh ishq nahi ho gaya, Rehman Saab?", you teased back, thinking you got the upper hand. There's no way Rehman Baloch will admit he was in love- after all, your husband or not, he was still Rehman Baloch.
Instead he brushed his fingers through your hair before bringing you closer by your head- close enough for you to feel his breath on your lips.
"Mujhe toh usi din ishq ho gaya jiss din tumnei 'qubool hai' bol kar meri aur muskuraya tha.", he murmured against your lips.
You inhaled sharply at his admission.
You were definitely losing this battle. How could you not? It was Rehman after all. He never lost and honestly, you didn't mind losing to him. You didn't mind the fact that he melted your heart with a single smile or set your body on fire with a simple touch. You didn't mind falling because you knew he would always catch you. You didn't mind losing your mind over his dusky scent and you didn't mind waking up to his face every morning. You didn't mind being in love with him.
And that is when you realised- though you had left your house for him, you found a permanent home in him. And you had memorized every corner of that home by heart. You knew how he took his chai, how spicy he liked his food, how he treated his men and people and most of all how he treated you- like the ruler of his heart. You knew Rehman enough to conclude that he was in fact nice.
You closed the gap between you, pouring all your emotions into the kiss.
As for him? He knew you were the anchor holding him steady, the reason behind his happiness and his light on his darker days. One smile from you made everything a little more bearable.
Although, something else made everything a little more bearable too.
"Rehman!", you scolded when you felt his hand untie the knot on your nightgown and slip under it.
hello people!!
I have been so inactive to the point where I forgot this account exists. Being here is bringing back so many memories and so much nostalgia. It's crazy to me so many things have changed since I first started this account. For instance- I'm not even a minor anymore!!
I started this account when I was 15 probably and I'm turning 20 this year!! It's crazy how time just passes by.
Nevertheless, I miss everyone so so much and I'm really grateful to the people who supported me back when tumblr wasn't filled with ads. I had a great time with you all and I hope everyone is where they wished they would be in 2026<3
Sending soooooo much love!
Come say hi if you all are still here I'd love to interact :)
you guys i have a question. is it wrong to ask someone for closure after they have blocked you without any reason and clearly want nothing to do with you?
