The untimely death of 27-year-old amazingly talented Drag performer/dancer Antoine Ashley aka Sahara Davenport has left the entire community speechless. Sahara was not only a talented queen, but an amazing partner to Manila Luzon and more importantly, one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked with her, but the time we did spend was pure love. I am deeply, truly saddened by her death and send Manila all of my love, strength and support. Sahara baby, you twirl, sashay, pop, dip AND spin all the way to those pearly gates.
