(Ignore the last ask please. I was in a big rush this morning because I didnât wanna run late to my therapy appointment, so I churned out a way too short story because I was in a rush, so I apologize for the half-assed story. I felt awful rushing it like that. If itâs okay with you, now that I have more time, Iâd like to try again)
Hereâs my art of them I made after I got home:
I shall name the Anglerfish Aquat â¨đABYSSIANđ⨠and the Axolotl Aquat â¨đŤ§ZUMAđŤ§â¨
For the rest of the steps, Iâll be (re) telling a story!!!
Things havenât been the same since the ranch had burned down. Some punks decided to set the enclosures on fire as a âprankâ and the entire ranch became engulfed in the process. Cassiopeia and the other Ranch hands had to evacuate all of the animals so that they wouldnât die from the fire. Unfortunately, many of the animals and people, while not killed, were injured from the blaze.
Corey remembers the moment that the house caught fire. Her limbs responded before she even knew what was happening. She opened her bedroom window and helped her animals hop out of it. She also helped some of the creatures who were trapped under the rubble by lifting away burning wood alongside Calypso. Every time Corey looked at the scars on her hands, she thought about that terrible night, and she has to try not to cry. She almost lost everything that night. The people who were family to her almost died. So many animals almost died. She almost diedâŚ
She didnât like to think about it. It was time to start the healing process. The ranch was currently getting rebuilt on the Wonderbluffs, but that didnât ease the heaviness within Coreyâs soul.
Corey was walking along the river, attempting to clear her mind, when she saw them: Two juvenile dragons, Aquats to be exact, chatting amongst themselves where the river met the sea. Corey had never seen any of them before. One of them was pale pink with purple stripes, and it resembled an axolotl, whereas the other was cool grey and brown, and resembled an anglerfish.
The pair of Aquats then stopped their odd conversation and stared at Corey with a friendly curiosity.
âOh! Hey there little guys. Are you lost?â
They both shook their heads at her. They must live here, or at least nearby. Nevertheless, Corey still wished to take them home with her.
âYou wanna come to the new ranch with me? Itâs a little rough around the edges right now, but itâll give you a home where you can never be separated!â
The young Aquat pair shared a look, and nodded at one another in agreement. They then proceeded to walk towards Corey.
âOkay, great! Letâs go! But first, you need names!â Corey looked at the Anglerfish Aquat first.
âHow about Abyssian for you?â
Abyssian happily nodded, seemingly loving his new name! Corey then looked at the Axolotl Aquat.
âGreat! And as for you⌠what do you think about the name Zuma?â
Zuma happily nodded as well, more furiously than her Anglerfish counterpart.
âAwesome! Letâs go!â
Corey led the Aquat duo to the Wonderbluffs, opening the gate to the ranch so that they could walk inside. The place was still under construction, so the freshwater and saltwater pools were not finished yet. Corey knew she had to improvise. She then remembered that there are a few huge fish tanks that she could use to house the Aquats!
She filled up one tank with freshwater for Zuma and one tank with saltwater for Abyssian. She then put each corresponding dragon into the water. Calypso then helped push the tanks together so that, even if they canât be in the same water, they donât have to be apart.
Calypso then brought out a big plate of freshly caught fish to feed the Aquats. âSo you wanted some treats for these critters?â
âYup! Alrighty guys, supper time!â Corey then tossed in a few fish into each of the tanks, watching as Abyssian and Zuma then ate their dinner.
âOh! I have presents for you guys!!!â Corey then proceeded to pull out two pearl necklaces, one freshwater, one saltwater. She then gave the Freshwater Pearl Necklace to Abyssian, and the Saltwater Pearl Necklace to Zuma.
âThere you go! Now, even though you canât be in the same water together, you can at least have a little piece of one another with you!!!â
Abyssian and Zuma were now certain that they were going to love it here, even if the ranch and pools are unfinished.
Corey had found new friends, and her hope for the ranch was growing stronger!!!
OOC: I hope you enjoy my new version of the story! Iâm sorry about rushing the last one, and I hope that youâre not mad at me for trying twice. I just had to right a wrong.
BEST OF LUCK FOR EVERYONE TRYING FOR THESE BEAUTIES!!!
(Btw, you can show this entry even if I donât get them!!!)
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Abyssian and Zuma accept your hospitality and are thrilled to go with you!
Take care and do visit sometime again!
