I don’t care if Hillary Clinton is corrupt. I don’t care if she lies, if she cheats, if she eats bowls of newborn chipmunks for breakfast.

She is literally the only thing standing in the way of a fascist dictator becoming President of the United States with a Republican majority congress that guarantees he can do anything he wants and nothing will be able to stop him.

I was and still am a Bernie supporter, and I hate a lot of things about Clinton, but none of that matters anymore. If Trump is elected, people are going to die. Women are going to die when Roe v Wade is overturned and Planned Parenthood is defunded. LGBTQ people are going to die when conversion therapy is further legalized and more bathroom bills are passed. POC are going to die as Trump rounds up Mexican immigrants, gives more power to the police, and fuels the fires of Islamaphobia. Poor people are going to die as Obamacare gets overturned and further cuts are made to welfare programs. And that’s just in this country. That’s not even taking account the all-too-likely outcomes of Trump starting new wars in the Middle East and having control of nuclear bombs that he’s said he ‘would not rule out’ using.

This is no longer even about ‘the lesser of two evils’. This is not ‘scare tactics’. This is literally life and death. Don’t fuck around and tell me you’re voting third-party or not voting at all, because you don’t have that luxury.

Two years ago, i made a new blog to write a diary, and to write down my insecurities because i moved to another city for my studies. I havent written much on it, and totally forgot I had it. But what ive written, it wasnt great. I was scared, lonely, I missed home. I accidentally found out that I made that blog, today. Also, I am now in the happiest place I have ever been. I have friends and an amazing life. When I read the posts I made two years ago, I remembered feeling so scared of what would become of me. I could never have imagined the place I am in now. What im trying to say is: it does get better. Even if something really scary is about to happen, or if you feel like you would never make it through. It will! It has happened to others, it will happen to you! It took some time, but I would not have missed it for the world! Good luck everyone, you can do it!

To celebrate 30K followers, I want to do another fanfic-themed promo for you guys!  

What? 

Most of you follow this blog for the many Destiel stories that get posted/reblogged on here, but for this promo I’d love to see you guys write, because I know that a lot of you have amazing story ideas, and the talent to do something with said ideas. Sometimes it’s hard to get some recognition in a fandom this big, no matter how awesome your writing skills are, so this is your chance to send in a short story, and get it published on my blog to +30k followers with your URL and a special promo. 

The Rules

Everyone who follows me ( @destieldrabblesdaily ) can enter! Every follower is allowed to submit one story. 

The contest is for one shots, and your story can be 2500 words max. 

Destiel has to be the main subject of your story, other than that, go wild; AU, canon!verse, fluff, angst, fantasy… Whatever you feel like writing!

The story has to be written specifically for the contest, meaning that it has to be something that you haven’t published elsewhere yet (your blog, AO3, Wattpad). The story is yours though, so once the contest ends, you’re free to do with it whatever you want/publish it wherever you want.

Submissions will only count when you send them off anon, otherwise I don’t know who to promo/whether or not you’re following the blog. When you submit your story, you will get a confirmation message from me within 24 hours so that you’ll know that I’ve received your entry. 

You can submit your story starting now, and submissions will close on (2016) September 5th. 

After that, I will pick my top five favorite stories, and these five will be published on my blog with your URL/a nice promo.

If your story makes the top five and I’m not following you yet, you’ll also get a follow (forever) back from me.
