Proper Introduction post!!!!

I realized that I’ve never actually made an introduction post before! Like, ever. So I thought I’d make one!

General Information

-I’m 20-years old, my birthday is in September!

-I’m an American, specifically, I’m a born and breed Hoosier! I HATE the politics of my state. Seriously, with a burning passion. But, Indiana will always be my home. I have family ties to the track and everything. I couldn’t be more proud of my roots

-My time zone is Eastern Standard Time (EST). I have always been a night owl. So, it’s decently common to see me awake at very odd hours of the night.

- I’m a lesbian, and have been in a loving relationship with my partner for 3 and a half years now (we met by complete accident while writing Fanfiction!) me and her are moving in together very soon!

-I am Bigender! My pronouns are She/Her/He/Him

-For the past few years, I’ve been doing online college! I’m set to graduate next Summer! I’m a liberal arts major

-The only career I’ve ever had (minus that brief period where I was working a second job at a popular low budget store…I hated that) has been in the second hand market. I’ve been working at a very popular American thrift store chain (that one) for many years now. Ever since I was in high-school. Around two years ago, I was promoted to Work for their online shop. I’ve been doing fantastic. When I graduate college, I’m hoping to transfer to the E-commerce facility. They make much more money there, and they offer certain opportunities for authentication, which is a very good career.

- I do digital art as a hobby. My art isn’t that great but I like to share it sometimes.

- I LOVE writing. I don’t write fanfiction as much as I used to, but I would really like to get back into it.

Fandoms

- Persona 3 4 & 5 (Jundori is my main focus. I have a Fankid character of there’s that is genuinely my favorite OC I have rn. But I do love Strega, as well and Junpei and Chidori separately.)

- Sonic (Tails is my precious baby, has been for over a decade. Big big Sonic X fan. Justice for Cosmo!)

- Resident Evil

- Beastars

- Wings of Fire

- Warrior Cats

- The Legend of Zelda (Breath of the Wild will always be my favorite video game of all time. It’s so near and dear to me)

- Scott Pilgrim

- Splatoon (I owe EVERYTHING to Pearlina)

- Arcane (Season 1…Season 2 wasn’t my favorite)

And probably more that I can’t think of off the top of my head

Also I’m like lowkey a furry but I don’t really engage with the fandom much

Music Taste

I love Midwest emo, folk punk, and different types of alternative rock. My favorite band of all time is The Front Bottoms, but some of the runner up’s are Michael Cera Palin, Mom Jeans, Slaughter Beach Dog, Modern Baseball, and so much more! I probably missed quite a bit

When thinking of Jundori and their possible children, I oftentimes find myself focusing on Junpei. He had an abusive father growing up, that would no doubt influence the way he would raise his children. He’d be trying to be better at every little turn. There’s a ton of reasons I like the idea of papa Junpei, goofy yet caring, and so very protective if he needed to be. Thanks to Q, we know that he wants kids (We seriously don’t talk about that cutscene enough. He lays the scene out for us, yet we ignore him…sign….I’ll write that scene out for you one day, Mr. Ace Detective.)

But, recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about mama Chidori. We know because of Shadow Cry (Strega’s holy text) that she likes the idea of having her own children one day (even if at the time, it seemed impossible.) So, what would she be like as a mother?

I like to imagine her as a very quiet, yet present mom. The best way to describe it is by telling you about a friend of mine I had growing up. Her dad was a retired military officer, and he had a terrifying voice. When he instructed her to do something, it sounded like a booming demand, it scared me to death. Yet, she wasn’t scared at all. She was so used to it, she just said “Okay.” And did what he asked her to do. Afterwords, I pulled her aside and asked if he was mad at us. She told me that he wasn’t mad at all, he just sounds like that. I imagine Chidori being the opposite. Quiet, displaying most of her affection through physical touch, and familiar expressions. What others might consider to be “silent treatment,” her child(ren) view it as just who she is. It doesn’t harm or upset them in any way, she’s the only mother they’ve ever had, it’s all they’ve ever known. Of course, Chidori isn’t mute, she still speaks to them, corrects any bad behaviour, and whispers them praise. But, she just much rather keep things simple.

She’s more strict than Junpei, but not overbearing. She sets the rules, he enforces them. Her kid(s) don’t really act up around her…they save the misbehaving for their dad.

Her quiet nature goes out the window if she feels like one of her child(ren) may be in danger.

She tries to be have physical contact with her children at all times out in public. Holding them in her arms, resting them on her back, or holding their hand. If she isn’t doing it, Junpei is. Even if they are in a stroller, carriage, or wagon, she makes absolutely sure she or Junpei could quickly pick them up if needed.

She makes an effort to never cry in front of her children, but after every single big milestone, she finds the time to sneak away and cry. She doesn’t have any of the memories they are making…it’s such a bittersweet feeling.

Lastly, I’ve had this idea in my head for awhile.

She’s cradling her first (possibly only) baby. They’re super little, still in the newborn stage, but at home. She examines their little face, eyes, nose, every tiny detail. The love in her chest is so incredibly deep, it’s a feeling she can’t even describe.

In that moment, she wonders if at one point, even for just a little bit…someone ever loved her like this.

Hello everyone!

I’m very very lucky to get to visit Southern California once or twice a year! I’m from the Midwest, and didn’t leave the region for the first time till I was 19! (About a year and a hand ago!) A side of my partner’s family moved there, so it is such a special treat every time I come out here.

This time may or may not have been heavily influenced by the SEGA Popup shop in LA! I went to LA the last time I went, but it’s tricky. Their family lives about an hour and a half away, but they REFUSE to go. Previously we landed in San Diego…but, because of the pop up shop, we decided to land in LA! (Burbank to be exact) I was exhausted and it was busy as hell with the semifinals going on- but WE MADE IT! We beat the traffic by taking the trains! We went to the pop up shop exactly a week ago.

Since the popup shop was almost over when we went (I think it’s over now) a lot of things were sold out :( BUT we ended up getting some cool things! Pictures are below.

Little Tokyo was much more crowded compared to the last time, but it was so much fun :)

I’ve been home for a few days now. Life has been so hectic with work and college. On top of that my partner and I got approved for an apartment!!!!!! I’m moving out for the first time! It’s very exciting but also nerve wracking. I finally have the time so might as well post these

I commissioned the wonderful@lakesparkles to design my beloved Umeko as an anthro character! She’s a Dolche- or more commonly known as the Asian Singing Dog! It’s important to know that this has nothing to do with Beastars au, just for fun!

This is the THIRD TIME I’ve commissioned @lakesparkles I highly recommend them! (They did an anniversary piece for me and my partner that is framed on our bedroom wall :3!)

As a wolfdog, Junpei always had to try so much harder to appear as friendly. He looks like a wolf, but was raised by a dog. That in itself is good for him on paper. The outside world doesn’t know that his dad is violent, aggressive, the complete opposite of how society views dogs.

So, from a young age, Junpei always excited greated people, tail wagging, putting on his best “Puppy dog,” eyes. He looks like a wolf, he knows that, but he’s not as big, and his one floppy ear gives his dog ancestry away.

He likes the status of being a “wolf.” But…none of the other wolves really took him seriously. The dogs were easier to get along with. On Biology Day, he’d usually stick with them

Even in Tartuaus, he wasn’t outwardly aggressive towards opponents. He’s light hearted, and even when he’s mad at Makoto/ Kotone during the halfway point if the story, he still never bares his fangs at them.

He meets Chidori- his tail wags without him even trying, he whimpers and drools, hops in excitement when he sees her. Chidori makes him feel like his best self without him even trying…a dog.

Whenever she dies- he stares at Takaya and Jin with a boiling rage. For the first time in years, he embraces his hatred, bares his fangs…

…and becomes the wolf.

Another reference for Russian!AU – now for Mitsuru-Milana. I've been busy with the festival and then work lately, so I haven't been drawing much.

Honestly, I'm already tired of references, although I understand that someone was waiting for their favorite characters in this universe. I just want to draw Jundori. I hope you won't be too upset with me for not adding other characters, or for adding them much later.

To keep you from being completely without content, here's a little about the others:

Arkady Sadov (Akihiko) – lieutenant of militsiya. Without his uniform, he looks like a composite image of all the main characters from cop shows like "Streets of Broken Lights." He earned the nickname "Uncle Styopa" (from Sergei Mikhalkov's children's novel "Uncle Styopa the Militiaman") from the neighborhood kids.

Fyokla Yamova (Fuuka) – a research assistant at the lab, familiar with electronic computers and yet knits sweaters for herself using patterns from Burda magazine.

Shurik Rogaty (Shinjiro) – dresses like Danila Bagrov from the movie "Brother" and works as a cook in some restaurant on the outskirts.

Alisa (Aigis) – well, just Aigis, helps Fyokla.

Kesha Amanov (Ken) – got into law school at Moscow State University and plays soccer in his free time.

Rodion Chizhikov (Ryoji) – no longer Zukin because it sounds silly, but at least it's a reference to the verselet "Chizhik-pyzhik, where have you been?" And in general, he's a walking reference to Raskolnikov from "Crime and Punishment." Mysterious and with a long scarf.

Takai Sattarov (Takaya) – a TV "shaman" of the "Place water next to the screen to charge it with energy" variety. He's covered in amulets and other mystical paraphernalia. A very skilled manipulator.

Daniil Shirokov (Jin) – a hacker from the nascent RuNet. No one has ever actually seen him, so it's highly questionable whether he even existed.

I want so badly to make content. Alas, I am but a broke full time student who’s also working a full time job. I’m so TIRED. Im hoping to get something done soon. Don’t worry I’m not dead. I have so many posts that I’ve been meaning to re-blog but I’ve just been way too tired to do so. What can I say, I refuse to not put my all into it

NEW UPDATED UMEKO IORI REFERENCE SHEET!!!!

Featuring: A soft Redesign!

This has taken me FOREVER!!! I’m planning on drawing her seasonal outfits…but I decided to do that a different day. My brain is mush, I need to work on a reference for her persona as well. I can’t believe how much this Jundori fan kid I made has grown on me. She’s my precious baby.

I’m going to a convention in 2 weeks, so I’m thinking of finding an artist to commission there.
