I was all ready to laugh over how once you get past surface impressions, grumpy-but-grounded softie Olruggio and completely off the fucking chain Qifrey subvert the usual fire-and-ice (well, water) personality types, but then I remembered that was deliberate, as they’d both attuned to the element they were most afraid of.

And like…how incredible was it that bitty maybe-preteen Olruggio came up with and adhered to this heartwarming philosophy of taking what’s considered destructive and terrifying and deciding to love and understand them until they become kind and comforting.

And one of the first things we see him do is befriend Qifrey.

i might have never fully finished the anime all the way but the way the last ep peals away from the manga... i don’t like that... not ONLY did we get robbed of the group Takita hug... but also I’m worried the introduction of Brno will have to be completely rewritten 😔
