Human AU. Hob is still a history prof while Prof D. Murphy teaches Lit The way they met was Dream was crying over his pet raven and Hob came over and was like assuming this beautiful young man was crying over his finals. Dream was pissed for a long time and avoided Hob but Hob was like YOU SHOULD TAKE IT AS A COMPLIMENT TO LOOK YOUNG. I usually use Emmett from Legally Blonde with Luke Wilson as the base to understand the dynamic.
